If what LA is saying is true, then UT offered him a raise at UT (even though it was low balled). Not sure I quite understand that. The cost of living in Knoxville is much less, so even a slight raise of 20-30k turns into much more.

I appreciated what Tee did for UT, and I would welcome him back at some point. But I got bad vibes from him from that situation, too. His comments about Hurd didn't help his perception either, regardless of how it transpired. Hurd was not soft on the football field either.

Clemson is at our level when it comes to composite recruiting rank over the last 4 years.

Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, and LSU are really the only teams loaded with 4 and 5 stars.

Is Clemson's average rating held back by the handful of 2* guys that they sign each year, most of whom I assume are elite JUCO players?

On topic - Callahan changing his tone of the Akers recruitment. Giving the Vols more of a shot here the past two days. Brad Shephard also weighed in and said a source he trusts says Vols are very much in play.

Close, unless I missed 1, there were 6. There were more Vandy players than UT players :loco: Atleast Barnett got some love, as #2, although he should still be higher than J. Allen who is #1. Barnett has done more in 3 years than Allen in 4.
