As a man, he should have shown restraint. She was wrong, he was more wrong. No excuse for his actions. The video was not needed as evidence, as the broken bones in her face were enough.

It looked to me that it happened so quickly and he bolted outside that they may not have had enough time to actually realize what had happened and then react. The whole situation took place in just a few seconds.
