Why would you name a starter in the spring? They have all summer and fall camp to compete and get better. I guess it would be an advantage to have a starter named so they get most of the reps with the 1's in fall camp, but at the same time I would think that would make your backup options worse.

My in-laws live in Palm Harbor. Spent last week down there, actually. Being so close to Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, and Sarasota is pretty cool. Also a quick drive to Orlando.

GA's class is nasty. Their two DE commits are great, landed some really good receivers and From. Have a 5 star safety to go along with them. If we don't recruit at a higher level, it's going to be tough to compete with that talent if Kirby gets better as a coach. He's recruiting at a Bama level

Hopefully its just the shine of a new coach coming in and promising championships. I thought Kirby was pedestrian this year in terms of coaching, but the man can recruit that's for sure. Don't they have a top 3 class for 2017 right now? The East will be interesting next year. Georgia will be better and Florida may take a step back but lets be real, they will still contend somehow. They always do.

15 of their 20 commits are from Ga also. That's a big part of it. But with instate talent picking up, Butch has to figure out how to build a fence around our state. We got the majority of talent in Tn, but this class would be so much better with Tee and Jacoby in it

Our OL should be fine. I think we need a new coach for that position to help. But we have Richmond, Jones, Weismann, Thomas, and Hall all coming back. With another year they should be better. I know, should be. But behind them we have talent, I like the guys we signed last year plus we have added Smith this year who may come in and be ready to play game one. Cade is coming next year also. I think the future for this OL is very bright with the right coaching.

Both seem to have pretty good QBs. But they beat us because we were bad this year, not because they were so much better. I mean, Vandy lost to Mizzou the week before and SC lost to Ms State and others

One thing that I hope happens in the offseason is that this staff figures out what to do with TK. He has been noticeably slower this year. If they want to keep him at safety they're going to have to change something with S&C. If not, they need to get him a look at OLB or something. This is his last year and I want to see that guy playing on Sunday. The talent is there

True. Here's to hoping that Butch can put up a wall/fence around Tennessee that would make Trump proud next year.

My favorite towns/villages in Tampa Bay are Safety Harbor and Dunedin. We always spent Saturdays going to different spots. I consider the whole TBay area as my second home.

It's very good but let's not act like they just started recruiting like this now. Dawg fans kept calling every class a dream team. The claim that he had no talent this year is ridiculous and their fans believed it
