More to the point, was Bill Billick a good COACH? Let's bring it home, who are all these great coaches that Kubiak is mediocre in comparison? Belichick of course...then?...Harbaugh? Hearing about footsteps in Baltimore. Mike Tomlin? I would say so. Who else? Jason Garrett? Coach of the current best record...fresh off a 4 win season. Del Rio? Didn't get fired by the Texans...by the Jaguars.inch: Right now you can legitimately claim that if you give Kubiak a good enough team...he can win you a Super Bowl. And as far as your claim that Wade Phillips and the D won the Super Bowl all by themselves? Carolina had an elite defense and they played like it. So Kubiak at least isn't as "mediocre" as Riviera. And as great as Denver's defense was? They didn't out score the other AFC teams in the playoffs. Pittsburgh and New England had wins in their sights. The Broncos TEAM made enough plays to get past them.
Barnes said it's time to win now. His attitude is much more likeable than Jones
So that missed goaltending early in the game hurts a little more now. I'm as happy with a loss as you can be. Maybe we can beat the Zags.
Where is Kwe Parker? I've been out of the loop. I want to see some of this:

You are really stupid if you think Butch doesn't care if he wins or not. Because of a comment based on his desire to praise young men for being winners at something more important than games. I'm with Butch in the context of what he actually said, not just the 140 character sound bite.
First Super Bowl ring for Wade...and coordinated for Kubiak in Houston. Not extending Belichick status but Fox doesn't win that Super Bowl. Kubiak made all the right moves that a Super Bowl winning coach makes.
Butch was kinda "ballsy" in his interviews and post-game pressers during year one. Still a lot of coach speak, but he talked about how it was never acceptable to lose at Tennessee after the Oregon shellacking and how he would get Tennessee back even if it killed him after the Auburn shellacking. He seemed much more confident back then.
The coach speak got turned up to a new level after the UF loss in 2014 and hasn't slowed down since.
According to Google, Tennessee acceptance rate is 75% and Maryland is 45%...
That is interesting!
Maryland is willing to risk 2 spots in their class to academic casualties, Tennessee is not. Has nothing to do with which is a better school. Two scholarships - pretty big price to pay for two kids who really could not care less about their grades.
