I'll be happy to watch any VOLS game but Indiana at the Music City Bowl does not make me want to leap for joy or even golf clap.
Could we get Wisconsin or Nebraska?
Edit: why would Kentucky and Vandy get better bowls than us?
The appeal would be that the Music City Bowl committee, themselves, get their revenue from ticket sales and sponsors. And frankly probably do not care much about economic effect it'd have on the city of Nashville. And by having a local team like the Vols play, they know they will sell a lot more tickets than say Georgia or Florida playing there.
I renewed my donation today. Just love the fun I have going with friends and family and occasionally making someone who never gets to go happy by giving to them when we can't make it. Only so many seasons and games in our lifetime. While the good Lord blesses me where I can afford it, I will keep doing it. Go Vols.

I've been leaning towards Butch blowing a 4th quarter lead to Saban and the Vols
You just made my point. Butch has lost the trust of many by shopping around. It doesn't matter whether it's local media or not. Hubbs, Paul, Brice, and Chris Lowe have all said he would jump given the circumstances here. They've all said he feels underappreciated. That tells me there is a divide between what he thinks reasonable expectations should be and what the fans think they should be. That is a recipe for disaster imo. Like it or not many have lost faith in Butch and he's going to have to do something fairly spectacular to win their trust back. This is a different Butch than the one that arrived on campus 4 years ago. That Butch seemed humble and grateful for the opportunity. This Butch seems privileged and has a higher self worth than he warrants IMO.
