And I'm sure Butch Jones losing 2 games to 2 bad SEC teams, losing by 40 points to Alabama at home, not playing in the SECCG (again), 2 five star players quitting mid season and being a national laughingstock because of his Champions of Life comment had nothing to do with it.

Agree! People don't understand the crap we spew does NO good for anyone. Who could blame our coach if he leaves. If it were to happen, we're in trouble! People complain about the bowl game we will go to. If we run him off, I'm thinking we won't have to worry about going to a bowl game next year, possibly the year after that! I would suggest people go out and read other message boards and compare to us. NO COMPARISON! Any coach (based on volnation) should think twice about coming here. Before you trash talk me, look at all the thread titles on volnation. Pitiful!!:no::no::no:

Bishop Sullivan is already a very strict academic school. They just recently were a huge part of a video bragging about how they turned the Gaddys' lives around making it possible for them to get into UT. How, just a couple of weeks later could grades be a problem again when the semester isn't even over?

Bishop Sullivan is strictly a college prep school. This wouldn't be coming out for grades right now. There's no logic behind grades being the answer other than what was going on a year and a half ago when they transferred

By my theory, they can come on here and read all the negative crap about them when they have a bad game. By my theory, they read all the comments about all our coaches need firing (Jones, Debord, Shoop, and Strength and conditioning coach) My theory is that they read all of this and think we have problems and run the other direction.

Well, considering the day they committed they were still being heavily recruited by Va. Tech and were still listening to Va. Tech doesn't make this a huge shock. Probably not very good timing for CBJ and his staff or they may have been told that there position coach/lead recruiter may not be retained.

I don't think Jones is going anywhere. Those guys de-committing may have been due to position coach changes. The coach (or coaches) may have been their primary recruiter(s).

Eh? Only 3 bailing? We got plenty commits left. 8-10 more decommit and maybe I worry. Its not like we got beat by Vandy or anything.

Super strongly disagree :dance2: and I honestly wish you were correct. Maybe, by some miracle, TN still pulls Trey Smith, Cam Akers and Yusuf Corker but the reality is very unlikely this was just normal movement...or even more ridiculous reaction to stupid threads...

Now if it is reaction to negative articles, albeit accurate ones, than that supports my suggestion of the on field results or lack thereof.

We'll have to see how recruiting plays out but we just lost 2 of our top 6 rated recruits.

We had more recruits than positions available and we will be getting new-better players between now and February. Just making room.
