Agreed. In Briles case, my question to anyone who thinks he deserves consideration would be: If your daughter was one of the victims, would you be okay with giving him a 2nd chance?

With UT just having cleared a Title IX lawsuit, you'll see Kiffin as the AD before you'll see Briles selling Dr. Pepper in Neyland Stadium.

But how often does UT hire multiple coordinators/assistants? Maybe our defense would have been more effective if Shoop had been allowed to bring some of his people.

Considering that Penn State has not missed a beat - ever consider that his success really wasn't him but who he was surrounded by?

To me the Shoop hire seems like a big mistake at this point.

Yep, no need to. UT administration served up chicken **** and tells everybody it's chicken salad and everyone laps it up. Then four years later they start to taste what they've been eating.

Could be. I have no idea, but it's clear that the defense he had in Nashville and State College never showed up here. Not even close.

This is exactly the problem with our program. The administrator and major donors have no clue what they are doing. It is time for the masses to react.

I hear let CBS being his own people. They are with Franklin at Penn State. Why leave that for maybe one year with Bob and Butch?

For Shoop, the question would be - did he have the same assistants working with him at both Vandy and PSU? And if so, are those assistants still at PSU? If yes - there is the answer - Shoop was not the one to hire.

That type of thing is wearing thin for the fans. When they start missing dollars they just might get the message. This is too great of a place with too great of a fanbase for the Administration to go cheap forever. They need to be careful and listen. GBO!!!!

Shoop wanted to bring in his people, but the powers that be stopped him from doing that. We can't keep trying to catch lightning in a bottle forever. GBO!!!!!

We all would. There's something fishy going on....either he and the assistants don't mesh or he's on a leash....I dunno...but something is way off.
