I wanted Shoop worse than most. I have no idea why now. Unless Butch is making him he plays many of the wrong players way too many snaps. He uses blitzes when they should be in coverage letting the front 3 or 4 apply the pressure. The back ups are developed no better than they were for Jancek. I was on the Strip train as well. Not any more. I am not seeing the techniques that can free these guys from the blatant holding. None of them get a pass after last night.

Exactly. I felt top 15-20 was possible WITH beating Vandy and a quality bowl game. Now? Lawd help us.

I could support Les with Charlie, as long as the OC was the right guy and a competent coach is in charge of game clock management in the last 2 minutes of every half. Might be the most practical hire of all of them. We would have to learn a new language though. The mad hatter is a unique guy.

I had another friend I trust who does know former players say my 10% guess was way low and Butchs agent was working hard for him and a possible exit. I still don't believe it though
