We aren't hiring a guy with an arrest record that has never coached college football

He also isn't coming. He is going places in the NFL

Not sure anybody knows what happened to this program this year... and not sure it matters now. What we need is the best path forward. I don't see how CBJ staying benefits anyone. Joe DiP won't fire him and a lame duck coach will have trouble recruiting and staffing. No quality coordinators and position coaches will come here to work for a short-termer who has created an adversarial relationship with the media and fanbase.

we are 2nd in the east, beat florida, and after next saturday will be in a tie for 2nd best overall record in the sec with the number 1 toughest schedule in america. im not happy, this sucks, but butch aint getting fired. 8-4, injuries, beat florida, not happening, sorry.

Shurmer threw for 400 yards against us and Jake Bentley looked like a stud against. Neither of those guys are any good and there was zero excuse to lose to either one. Butch is a loser

Butch did a decent job building up the program for a real coach to come in

And this is the perfect time to make the switch

And we don't do it

I know butch isn't getting fired but he needs all new coaches and a ******n strength program upgrade from the current high school program we have

The consensus is he not getting fired. Everyone knows this, so save your breath. What rational people are hoping for is that some school hires him.

Kiffin and Strong. get it done. Absolutely crazy, but I am serious. Kiffin would have our offense rolling like a Ferrari and Strong with the D. Everyone will get over the Kiffin crap by Orange and White game. Kiffin will be cheaper and Strong no buy out. Tell Butch to GTFO on his own. Do it. By 2018 there will be energy and synergy. Kiffin learned some things under Saban, don't be fooled.

Bad thing about this is, recruiting is probably shot all to hell and we are now in a downward spiral with the current staff. Need a qb coach and coached that can actually improve players

That was the info I was looking for. Been a big Dantonio fan for a while. Just looking on the surface without having any in depth info about that program, I was concerned about the drop off they had this year after Narduzzi left.

We've had what, about 4 months to get the ad in order. And who knows how long leadership knew hart was moving on.

Come on dipietro, grow some balls and do something for once. Dragging out this change has put us on a terrible spot.

I highly doubt any one in the SEC had the toughest schedule in the country. The conference is craptastic this year. Not because everyone beat up on each other, but because aside from one school, the talent level is comparatively down and coaching is the definition of mediocre.

A lot of people are stuck in this narrative that the SEC is too tough. There's actually a huge opportunity here. There are no scary coaches left except Saban, and he's not getting younger.
