Yep - one of those DT's is an incredible freshman that made Jackson's life miserable for 3 quarters he was so unblock able.

EDIT: His name is Ed Oliver - #10. He was everywhere before his injury in the second half.

The difference in Clowney and Garrett is that Clowney gets 4.5 sacks against ranked Clemson teams while Garrett gets 4.5 sacks against pitiful teams.

Clowney >>>>> Garrett

I am laughing so hard at the Garett is better than Clowney and will be a HOF'er stuff. For once I am glad he got quoted in a post. Made my night.

All I ask is that our Titans draft Barnett and leave the fool's gold alone. Garrett is even a shell of who was a year ago. And Barnett was better than him then. Imagine what kind of year Barnett would have had if the DT's had not been decimated with injuries.

The interception was the play I thought he looked slow in the open field. He's a elite player but just doesn't wow me with speed. His power does though.

He's really fast. He reversed field twice after running down field and making the pick. Maybe he was gassed.


He's the best High School Safety I've ever seen in person.

I haven't seen in person but I just don't see that burst that say an Eric Berry had. I certainly might be wrong but I am thinking LB and a damn good one

Once again focusing on college stats is a fallacy. Its how teams make dumb mistakes like taking Jared Goff #1 overall.

I focus on HOW a player plays. Clowney never impressed me. He was all speed rush plus I never liked his motor. He cared more about what football could provide him than he cared for the game in and of itself.

Garrett on the other hand has impressed me alot this year. He plays with alot more power than Clowney. He's build more sturdy. Plus I like that he converts speed to power unlike Clowney who wasn't great at converting speed to power.

Garrett is easily superior Clowney.

To be fair the announcer isn't some renowned talent evaluator. It's just Brent Dougherty.

I don't think he is slow, I just don't think he is elite SEC safety fast.

Footnote. I didn't think Lebron James would be great coming out of HS so I may not be an expert talent evaluator.

Friendly wager Volatil, I say he doesn't finish his college career at S.
