Nah! He(Orange Studs) just can't stand seeing me get along with anybody on here. He tries to keep me all riled up with his posts towards me.

Bless your heart you still wrong in your posting. I think you two are a cute couple. I don't mind you getting along with folks, its just Cat seems to be about the only one you do get along with. All I ever see is you arguing with everyone cause you always post bad info. lol

Revisionist history. All of the sudden 9-3 was our preseason expectation. The SECE was a toss up. Our talent is slightly above average in the SEC. You 10-2 or 11-1 people were totally unrealistic. Oh, by the way, did you know we had a lot of injuries (hey guys, we only lost one game due to injuries, but I'll even give you TAMU).

Yet a lot of those same guys were probably making "15-0" posts and telling people worried about recruiting not to worry, because the blue chips would come rolling in once the wins this year did.

Unrealistic? It should have happened

Yes they are. The only advantage we have on offense is Dobbs.

They are better or equal at every other position

Dupree and Doral are both 1-2 round picks next year

they get alot of merit and benefit of the doubt based on the logo on the side of the helmet IMO. I think they are pretty brutal.

Irony is ironic.

LSU isn't better than us, period.

LSU does have more talent than TN it is why coming into year they were a SEC champion pick by several. Just because they aren't coached well doesn't mean it ain't talented. Talking about a school that had a terrible pass offense with Landry and OBJ at WR. Based on how both teams are coached at moment we probably would beat LSU but doesn't mean we have more overall talent especially healthy talent

Tired expression is tired. But please, explain.

You claim revisionist history yet the original post about talent was directed at me. I predicted 10-2 with hopeful losses to A&M and Bama to stay in the East race. Not anything better. We lost one more, and it's disappointing. That is still consistent, however, with A&M, LSU, and Alabama having just as good, if not better, rosters than us. Florida and UGA had weaknesses.

You claim revisionist history, yet you are spouting off things that not everyone claimed. There were probably people who thought we would 11-1, but I always thought a split of our four game stretch was more reasonable.

Yeah, LSU should have been playoff contenders this year. Their offensive coaching was so atrocious though, it was almost inevitable that they weren't. Never could recruit a QB with that awful OC they had, Cam Cameron.

Are there any defensive tackles, linebackers or defensive backs we can get from Texas as graduate transfers?

I guess the same question applies to Notre Dame and Florida State and LSU as well

Harris was a top QB recruit. He went to the wrong offense. Very talented and could succeed in spread somewhere else if G could get confidence back

If Butch bolts, we'll probably hire Cam, cause Tennessee

Well, the description I gave of revisionist history was a compilation examples of what people have said here. Obviously if I included "things that everyone claimed" I would be typing for weeks. Use some common sense.

And I will admit, I didn't try to track down the provenance of AVs post. He asked why all of the sudden people were down playing our talent. I answered. I literally had no idea he was responding to you. Go look at the post, you aren't quoted. Don't flatter yourself.

If Butch bolts, I think we hire PJ Fleck.

That being said, I don't see Butch going anywhere. Odds less than 3% imo.

I think PJ Fleck is Tom Herman from about this time last year, so I would be very pleased with that hire, should that unfortunately take place.

In all this crazy boondoggle the last few days on here, Gruden's name has made its usual appearance. But I must say I am quite surprised I haven't seen Peyton's name bandied about.

Peyton's got bigger things ahead of him then HC here. Besides, if it were to go sour, the risk of losing UTs greatest ambassador ever would be too great.
