Sorry, my second comment was not directed at you. It was directed at people thinking I was minimizing Dobbs' contributions. Didn't word it well.

I am sorry, but WNML needs to find someone else as their football "expert." I like Fuad, but, he IS a kicker. I am not saying this because he ranks this defense so low; it is hard to argue that, but you can't tell me that they can't find someone better to break down a game than Fuad Reveiz?

I don't understand why it bothers you guys so much what butch says in his press conferences. In all honesty it's not a big deal. That's the least I worry about with butch

Honest question to all.

What is your long-term expectation for this program?

I think we'd all consider any non-bowl year to be a catastrophic failure. Many think any year in which we don't win the East is a failure. A few hopped off the train as soon as we were no longer a reasonable threat to make the playoffs. So where is your line?

If we were to reach the LSU level, where we're relevant every year, but perhaps only serious title contenders about 25% of the time... would that ultimately be satisfactory to you? Or are you only content if we get to the dynastic championship-or-bust level like Alabama?

Note that these are examples and context is important with any result. I'm just interested to hear what level of long-term production and consistency would make you all think, "This is a successful program at the University of Tennessee."

No he isn't I agree I just think Reggie is such a legend in all of football I hate to see his record fall.

I would be fine with a tie. Hopefully that sounds better

For someone as social media savvy as he supposedly is, he does say some dumb things. I am sure that it important, but he is getting destroyed on Twitter right now, by his own fans. That's something you say if you're 2-10 and on your way out. You don't say it if you blew one game from playing for a championship. Good gravy.

That or play the same 4-2-5 but have TK or Gaulden play in the box and act like a legit 3rd LB.

Honestly I'd be more confident in them making plays out there in the run game than our 3rd DT who would be a walkon. Try to keep the best guys on the field at all times.

On that 3rd and 22 they converted he ran straight up field and the RB went right by. Of course what DE in the county isn't pinning his ears back on 3rd and 22.

Barnett generally plays good run defense though. I'll settle on a few misses on long distance plays/offsides penalties for the opportunitiy to create game changing sacks and/or turnovers.

Because if you're failing expectations, you should at least try to come across as likeable. Like Les Miles I guess. He failed in the end but damn he was a likeable guy

What was the context of the quote?

If he said it about the departing seniors, it just sounds like standard throwaway "I'm proud of you" encouragement. Which is fine. But you guys are making it sound like he's pardoning/rationalizing the team's season. These two things are not equal.

It may have already been said. But with the hurts rushing numbers being higher than dobbs'....

A) pretty sure that counts sacks. It would be interesting to see what the numbers would be minus sacks.

B) hurts got to play against our defense. 😁😢
