For the record I think the injuries have made a big impact on the defense. I think the defense should have been a top 4 defense in the league without the injuries. With the injuries I agree the defense shouldn't be held to the same standard. If this defense was playing 5-7 range in the SEC that would be acceptable but this team is playing worse than anyone at this point. That is why I am frustrated.

I say let Shoop bring in his people, lets get everyone healthy and see if there is a difference next season. If shoop can't do any better with his own staff and the results are the same I say time to move on to someone else.

Are you really being serious? Vickers is actually a converted DE. When he was signed he weighed somewhere around 235 to 240 pounds. He put on all that weight, because he knew that he had no shot of playing time at DE with our depth at that position. Your argument is hilarious. I appreciate him giving his all for TN, but in all honesty he, we have no true DTs lining up right now, expect Picou and he's too light. Everyone knows the secret to moving the ball against us right now, and that is to line up and run right at the middle of our defense.

Not disagreeing. My point is that 99% of the time it's within 10 yards of the LOS. Very little burn them over the top, until the last two games. When we do it it's incredibly successful. We just didn't do it enough. Several games teams were daring us to throw it over the top, putting 8 and 9 in the box and single covering the outside and we'd throw 5 yards behind the Los. Tailback screens to the flat, WR screens to the flat, and the DE was waiting on it.

Agree. He also made a mistake by not implementing his terminology. You can't half way be the coordinator you were before and expect the same results.

It's also fair to say that these are best deep balls Dobbs has thrown in his career. Coaches need confidence the QB can execute if they are going to blow the top off a D.

This was true last year. Completely false this year. Dobbs, Malone, and Jennings have stretched the field from game one this season

Just because you kept posting it over and over again doesn't change the game films from our 11 games. Please go watch and make sure it's 2016 games and not 2015

I'll say this though. Give me 1 on 1 with JJ and I throw it to him every time. He'll catch it 80% of the time.

Crazy thing is Shoop's defense actually forced turnovers yesterday that were big. Can't stop the run but they played well enough to win with our dynamic offense. Lol

We are a big 12 team guys accept it. 😂😂😂😂

Win at Vandy and the bowl game and I agree. But this season has been a failure without winning both of them regardless of the opponent

Hope some of the teams bad luck rubs of on Bruin.
He gets carpal tunnel and will be out six to eight weeks. That would be awesome!!!!
