Looking at his stature, style of play, the way he runs, etc. I see why people jump to make the Manziel comparisons.


But he ain't Johnny Football (yet at least...JFF did get to redshirt and struggled his first game or two).

As I said earlier, tonight we truly saw just how bad our secondary has become- it has almost gotten worse as the year has progressed. There is some major work to be done actually coaching and teaching these kids how to tackle, take the right angles, and truly know how to play that position, and we do not currently have the staff in place to get the job done. Next season something has to change or we will get torched every game at will... this display was against a 3 win team... can you imagine what would have happened to us tonight against a pass happy, top 10 team? Ouch. Butch needs to break out of the bubble of denial he has been in this season with all his BS coach speak and stubborn attitude and make some changes so he can stay longer than where he is currently headed.... I will give Shoop next season to prove us wrong on whether he is just eye candy that doesn't get it done.

I wonder if the d staff was getting auditions this year with Shoop. Maybe after the season we'll see changes that Shoop wants with that being the plan all along. We'll see soon enough.

I explained why that mindset was wrong. I WAS with you from the beginning, then you devolved into the reading comprehension, etc stuff that wasn't really germane to the conversation. For some reason, when I said I remembered that Missouri won the East those two years but didn't remember what Bowl they played in, that set you off like you had a raging case of PMS.

Going back to look at it to see if I missed something, I'd say the reading comprehension is a you issue.

lol w/e bro. You obviously thought I was arguing my own opinion. Nice trying to cover though.

It was the UF bowl last year, fwiw, not Mizzou. I should've realized I was trying to explain things to a brick wall when it became clear your memory apparently cant go back to last January.
