If Houston beats Louisville, then there's a real chance Oklahoma works back into serious playoff conversation.

anyone see the article from this week where Wake is claiming they have proof Louisville may have had their offense plays?

What's so bad about this is that if Louisville loses, they'll give the heisman to Hurts. The media wants so bad to give that award to an Alabama player every year and they'll give it to the Bama QB even tho he's mediocre

I should have said fixed revenue streams, ticket sales, concessions, TV revenue. Sure, if you win championships you can increase your ancillary revenue streams like appearal sales but it's not a for sure thing. Given the risk that it doesn't work out, many feel it's not worth it.

This isn't coming from me but from folks close to the AD.

It's more mentality than money, IMO. UT's leadership seems to be content getting to a good bowl game and making an appearance in the SECCG once a decade. UTAD has bargain shopped for head coaches the last three hires-- and it has turned out to be very costly.

When UT decides to be a perennial championship contender, the money will be there to put the pieces in place to achieve that goal.

Ed Oliver = John Randle (Vikings Hall of Famer)

Anyone else reminded of Randle watching Oliver? That would be my pro comparison for him.
