if you wana see a ranking that is unbiased and deadly accurate check out the fpi. it has lsu at 6 and penn st at 21. we are 17. they should let computers chose the playoff teams with no human input then noone would be able to complain and also the out of conference schedule would get beefed up or your out.

I actually think it would be best with four or six team playoff. (Two top ones getting a bye)

Yep, cause any DC could lose almost their entire starting defense as well as many backups, be forced to play 4th and 5th stringers at multiple positions and not miss a beat! Heck, other DCs could still field a top 25 defense with their 4th string D. Come on guys! Shoop has to be terrible

They are so blinded by their hatred for CJ they refuse to admit the reality that our Defense has hit rock bottom with experienced, top talent. We win against KY and they can do is gripe about how many yards they gain against our 3rd and 4th stringers. And they got a lucky bounce on a onside kick or they wouldn't have scored another TD.

Jancek knew the personale and would have absolutely not allowed complete meltdowns like shoop has. His defenses were prepared and shoops aren't. Shoop is the better in game coach but when you spot the opponent an opening drive TD every game it gets old.

Yep, Shoop who was graded by CFB Matrix as a top 3 defensive coordinator in the country comes To TN and is terrible. Yep, that makes sense

Jancek allowed some breakdowns while he was here as well (hello 4th&14, although you could argue players missed tackles)

I will say I agree entering the game Jancek had better game plan. Shoop in game adjustments are very good. Look back at the first portion of the season with a healthy defense and his adjustments were lights out.

When we were even remotely healthy, nobody scored on us after he made adjustments. He shut people down

Agreed his adjustments have been great for sure. His 1st qt plans have been equally as bad though.

Not a great chance, but if Vandy were to score some on us that could get ugly. I think JFK & Kamara run all over both of them, especially Mizzou lol.
