Finally looking like Lady Vols basketball and thank you Jordan for looking to score, we'd be a much better team if she looked to attack more, it's good to want to set everyone else up but sometimes you have to try to get points for yourself especially when you see that your team needs it

I see getting beat off the dribble as a major concern this season. I think they have about 15 baskets beating us off the dribble today.

Yep. If not for her improvement in her stroke she would be on the bench. She like DD could be so much more effective if they would dribble to the FT line on their breaks and stop and pop rather than charge.:pepper:

Well, our offense is definitely better this year. Diamond, Alexa, and Jaime are highlights. Our defense though...I don't mind that they're hitting open shots, but the fact that we are getting beaten off the dribble is troubling.

My concern as well is when we start playing teams that are much better than what we have to this point we go back to that old stuff.

I don't have a problem with that shot meme just missed. looked good on form and no hesitation but did not drop.

Navy has gone ice cold. But then the LV's have started turnovers again. Middleton's shot is great.

This is the Middleton we've seen brief flashes of for two seasons. She has great court vision, hustles all over the court, isn't afraid to take chances, and now she has a great looking shot. If she can clean up her TO's, tighten up her defense, and play this way against better competition, she will help her team immensely.

We have the pieces to have a great season we just have to put them together. I love that Middleton and Jackson are looking to shoot/score (and Reynolds seem to be doing it this game also). Once Dunbar starts hitting we could be scary good if we eliminate the dumb turnovers and fouls
