I don't completely absolve Shoop of all of our defensive struggles but I keep seeing people say things like this. Well because his players at Vandy were at the same level as our backups then he should be producing similar results. Only problem with that though is that all of those similarly talented players at Vandy took every snap during fall camp as the 1's and 2's. The guys who are now coming in for us at this point were running scout team assignments and getting little to no reps because they were only expected to play against the likes of TTech this year.

Colorado is overrated. The 5 straight wins is big. Otherwise, the 3 you mentioned are more deserving.

Last year with Shoop they were #1 in pretty much every defensive category in the B1G. This year they are middle of the pack in scoring and total D.

Seems like the DC matters a bit for him.

Compare it with the in conference stats each year because that's at least somewhat comparable.

Worse than last year only considering a coordinator change. No accounting for players lost, injuries, etc. I'd love for someone to look up every stat and prove me wrong. Point is, they dropped 18 spots, still a top 50 defense. Our defense is triple digits ranking.

Just keep calm, and blame everything on injuries.
