Election Results Thread

Virginia may be a shocker. Most experts had Clinton winning it at around 85% probability. NC looks good for her. May be a wash.

I expected NOVA to be a lot worse for Trump. He's running better in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, though, which helps his case.

NC will be within a point either way IMO.

VA Counties
1. Buchanan (+13% over Romney)
2. Bland (+9% over Romney)
3. Lunenberg (+6% over Romney)
4. Prince George (+2% over Romney)
5. Louisa (+4% over Romney)
6. Essex (Obama won it with 53% and TRUMP won with 49.6%)
7. Russell (78% TRUMP vs. 67% Romney)
8. King and Queen (57% TRUMP vs. 51% Romney)
9. Buckingham (54% TRUMP vs. 50% Obama) - PICKUP
10. Appomattox (71% TRUMP vs. 64% Romney)
11. Bath (69% TRUMP vs. 57% Romney)
12. Louisa (60% TRUMP vs. 56% Romney)
13. Northumberland (62% TRUMP vs. 57% Romney)

Trump is leading 50.4% to 44.7%. Fairfax had 31% in and Loudoun with 50%. Will his over performance in rural VA be enough to insulate him from Northern VA?

Looks like Cubans went Trump - makes up for the increased Hispanic vote.

Clinton still wins but Trump probably takes FL. The big loss for him will be NC and possibly OH but early reports of Cuyahoga County being down in turn out keeps OH in play.

I've always wondered why Cleveland is a blue city given that it is a very blue collar big city.

Whatever happens in VA, it has to be concerning for Democrats. It wasn't supposed to be close.

Less than 50k separate in Ohio

Less than 70k in NC

Both moving towards Trump but he needs to close up fast.

Family in OH have told me that there's been a push to write-in Kasich. Some folks even have yard signs. Doubt it's any kind of big deal, but it could cost Trump some votes.

Not sure if this is just because of early voting or what, but Trump is running way behind Romney in all of the Ohio urban centers.
