Taking OV to FSU, USC, BAMA, and TN. Used the infamous, I'm committed but still open line.

I don't think kids realize how that sounds. Think he sticks, just need to win out to not give teams any momentum.

No wonder he has been quiet on the recruiting trail. Can't recruit people if you don't know where you're going yet. I've never had a good feeling about his commitment.

He mentioned W/L but one game normally doesn't sway any kid. However, notice he still says 'we' when talking UT.

the top-100 senior safety from la vergne high school in suburban nashville, tenn., said wednesday that he’s “still loving” his commitment to the vols, but he’s planning to take official visits to at least three other schools leading up to national signing day.

“bama’s still at me hard. Florida state’s still at me. Usc’s still at me,” gray said after receiving his jersey for the 2017 under armour all-america game during a ceremony at his school. “even though i’m committed, the recruiting is not going to stop. I’m trying to make sure i’m sold on tennessee and it’s the place that i want to be, because i really haven’t gotten down to a game to see the atmosphere at alabama. I really haven't been to a game at usc. I mean, i’ve been on campus, but i haven’t been to a game (there).”

they’re currently on a three-game losing streak, but he said their recent struggles haven’t changed the way he feels about them.

"there's always bumps in the road, and unfortunately they're having some bumps in the road,” gray said. “with being in the sec, we can’t have — the games that they’ve had, you can’t have those games. You can’t start out slow playing in the sec, or playing against any team, really, you can’t start out slow. And that’s a bad habit we’ve had. I mean, i don't know. We've got to do something about it. Hopefully something will change. Who knows? I mean, it’s football. … and, on top of that, we've had a lot of injuries. You can't win games without injuries, a few mental mistakes during the games. And they can take over a game. Those small things can bite you.”

gray said he’s likely to take his official visit to tennessee in january, and it won’t be easy for another team to change his mind about the vols.

Well good news is, according to De1, he's "GARBAGE" anyway. :). Somebody better let Bama and FSU know.

Maleik Gray is garbage? Are you kidding me? Somebody don't know football that would say that. This kid can play.

He's probably going to end up de-committing anyhow but he is way from being garbage. De1 has lost his mind if he thinks Maleik Gray can't play. He's a really good player & his rankings also say that as well. Thanks!
