It's not hard to recognize that baseball isn't the most popular sport in America and that many people dislike the Cowboys.
Seriously? Game 6 of 2011 WS was better.
It is up: 3HL | WGFX-FM
Top interview on the page.
He also said Hurd was never benched.
"Obviously, last Saturday night was inexcusable, and I take full responsibility."
Boro has said in the FF that the team has players who love Butch and those who do not. It's pretty divided and I believe that 100 percent, you see it in the field and now with star recruits leaving. I agree with OG and others, when did this happen? Because at the end of last year we looked to be so united. I wonder if this has anything to do with the lawsuit? I mean New Years we were celebrating our bowl win and excitement for this season. Recruiting wasn't as highly ranked as the previous classes, but closed strong with some good gets at the end. Then boom- the lawsuit. And Tennessee football was the headline on major news outlets for weeks. And then what was starting out to be a potential number one class falls apart with Hunter and then Tee decommiting and deciding on Clemson. We all hoped that winning this year would fix all of this then much to our horror- the team has looked out of it all season long except for some last minute comebacks. Did Butch change after the lawsuit, did be become difficult to be around or change his off season rules with the team? Something or multiple things have obviously happened in the offseason that we don't know about. But it seems to all point back to something changing with Butch. And I can't forget Neuheisels comments which came out of nowhere at the time but are sure interesting now. Eazy, you have any idea what has happened?
Maybe I'm waxing a little bit nostalgic but this whole Hurd thing has to be tough on CBJ. I recall reading that Hurd sat next to Butch on the bus before a game as a freshman and, evidently, Butch was pretty anxious. Butch later shared that Hurd told him, "Don't worry coach. We've got your back." And then fell asleep on Butch's shoulder. You know recalling memories like that have to eat you up when a kid leaves the program in that way.
There have been players who were fed up with Butch since his first year on campus. As he's added high caliber talent, that number has gone up each year.Boro has said in the FF that the team has players who love Butch and those who do not.
