It is up: 3HL | WGFX-FM

Top interview on the page.

He also said Hurd was never benched.

"Obviously, last Saturday night was inexcusable, and I take full responsibility."

I'm sure there were maybe 1 or 2 that waited 108 years. :) Did I read that graphic right? Al Capone was 8 and Babe Ruth was 13? :eek:hmy:

Go ahead and rubberstamp Theo Epstein into the HOF. Two cursebursters in one lifetime?

Think he knows anything about being an AD?

You know nothing

I mean don't get me wrong. I loved the final chapter, Hollered at bird money, mr. Perfect, and free Gucci. But lemonade is what drove Atlanta crazy and has been remixed by more performers than I can count. Put that song on at any party, and see how much fun people have.

Until this post I thought y'all were talking about drinks and was wondering why so many people in this thread were hating on lemonade so bad 😂😂😂

Maybe I'm waxing a little bit nostalgic but this whole Hurd thing has to be tough on CBJ. I recall reading that Hurd sat next to Butch on the bus before a game as a freshman and, evidently, Butch was pretty anxious. Butch later shared that Hurd told him, "Don't worry coach. We've got your back." And then fell asleep on Butch's shoulder. You know recalling memories like that have to eat you up when a kid leaves the program in that way.

You can't buy character

It usually has more to do with the fact that most people aren't good with money to begin with and the lottery usually doesn't attract the ones who are good with it (and on top of that winners are suddenly gifted it in amounts that are hard to wrap one's head around). Also that a bevy of hangers-on come out of the woodworks for winners.

Very few people are ever taught how to manage that kind of money. The ones who are don't need to play the lottery.

Ban him

Why continue to give him a platform when it is clear his intentions are only to bring the program down?

Vol forum should protect Vol interests

I said this a couple of days ago in here. I thought then that the mods should watch what he posts very carefully, and if he continues his agenda, ban him. It's absurd at this point that this is still being allowed, when Jalen is no longer a Vol.

FREAK AND MODS, will you please ban Vol74 and protect our program from this trash being posted in public, in which we don't know if any of it is true? TIA

I remember this. I think Jalen had the flu all week, as did some other players. Hurd also told him to just "give me the ball". This is what baffles me. What happened from the end of last year to the beginning of this year? It seemed every player would run through a brick wall head first with no helmet for Butch before this year. It seemed they all loved him. Did he start treating them differently for this season because of all the high expectations and pressure? Maybe not only was he hard on them during practice, but was hard on them off the field as well, and stopped showing that he loved them? Did the pressure of all the hype get to CBJ more than it did the players? I don't know the answers but something is off.

If you can't appreciate the tension and back and forth ups and downs, pressure plays, then I'm sorry. It's called Americas Pastime for a reason.

I'll go out on a limb and say as concussion syndromes are studied more and more and their effects on the individual, you will see the better athletes playing baseball.

I think that's already starting to happen. There are more young players with elite athleticism than I recall seeing since I became a fan in the early 1990s. There's more than a few that I thought might make good football players.

This. His posts have already been plastered on social media. Neither party needs that crap.

Also, in some cases those woodwork people have murder on their mind.

It would be better for winners if they would keep it anonymous.

You may not like baseball but check out the journey of Zobrist. no offers to World Series MVP.

Breath of fresh air during Jalen Hurd week, polar opposite story.
