Coach Matthews on The Zone talking about Tennessee right now if anyone wants to listen. He alluded to an incident in the UGA game as well, but won't go into detail.

Pretty sure he's referring to something that happened between Hurd and a coach/coaches.

That theory kind of had legs back when I think Butch was hired. Skeeter was in the videos and made a comment about what he was wearing before the videos were posted. The only person matching that description was Blackburn.

I agree it's not him but recall that being the rumor for a while and his disappearance here happened the same time Blackburn left adding fuel to the fire.

Just like I say GFW is Dave Hart 😂

I mean why even hold press conferences then? Use that time to prepare for your next opponent as it seems you could use that time

I have always enjoyed your insight, but you know why he holds press conferences. He is required to pursuant to his contract. That's nothing new.

The funny thing about this is that Butch gets criticized for leaving Hurd in a green jersey and having a "soft" fall camp, yet, we are now discussing his practice intensity and concussions. Which is it? Our society will pick at anything, even if they don't know anything about it (not saying you don't; just generally). I guess that is what he gets for losing to South Carolina, but I would hate to be a public figure. They have to choose between option A or option B, and a faction of society criticizes each option.

Unfortunately, we've heard this the past 5 years. THIS year was supposed to be the year and he managed to get the team to regress. Injuries or not. He has shown us no signs that he will get it done, either in game or in his philosophy.

More coach speak. I'd rather he just shut up and stop talking at this point because the only time people ask him genuine questions he just refuses to answer or calls people out for leaving his shams of press conferences.

A bowl game doesn't mean a damn when you SHOULD be the #4 team in the college playoff and when you've lost 5 games in 2 seasons that you either had double digit leads in or should've just won outright.

I'm having to turn Matthews on and off due to work, but he said he is 100% still behind CBJ and Dobbs. Said Dobbs just had a very bad game at USC. Thinks they need a QB coach moving forward, and thinks changes will be made.

He is being very vague about Hurd the situation, but did say he thinks no player should quit on his team, and thinks Hurd is an RB not a TE in the NFL, and doesn't understand that TE/WR talk.

He said he knows that two times while he was at UT, players told off Coach Majors, and Majors handled it internally and took care of the situation. He made it sound like he didn't know if CBJ could have done anything differently to keep Hurd in check or to stay on the team at this point, but that it is a sad situation all around.

He said we should start seeing a lot more of the younger players at this point.

Adequate LB play has killed the defense.

He's still on.

Skeeter seems more like a guy who is a decent guesser and hedges his words wisely.

Tales of a soft fall camp are the equivalent of trolling, lying, misrepresenting the truth, etc. Does that help? It won't for those that believe GFW, LAVol, me, others - are all trolling.

A soft camp does not even pass the eye test. Injured ankles, heads, shoulders, knees, etc. on guys in great physical condition. A little common sense would help some folks.
