Any time I see that or Lyle used I know to immediately dismiss the poster. It tells me they're too immature to have an adult conversation about the coach or the program. I also have no respect for anyone who dogs their own team and gives ammunition to our rivals and competitors and contributes to a false narrative about our coach, program, and team. Things aren't perfect. They need to be fixed but stuff like that only adds to the narrative and makes our problems worse.
It's the same thing when I hear pool boy or whatever other childish nicknames people use for other coaches. It drives me crazy that there's so much immaturity associated with sports fandom. I love the sport and I love talking football and the state of our program but the childishness that goes on is absurd. It's why I mostly stay in the recruiting forum where we act more like grownups.
What game aside from Kentucky has their offense looked good? I live here and trust me, their fans hate their offense.

I know he isn't a senior yet, but this guy deserves a standing O when walks out of the tunnel the last time.
Kendal Vickers, Tennessee, Defensive Tackle
I am trying to get my head around what has been going on. Seems like the running game keying on Hurd was getting bogged down. It showed new life but for whatever reason, perhaps over-effort the turn-overs were to much to over come against A & M.
Kamara being out limited the options against USC and with Hurd being compromised, Muschamp keying on rendering Dobbs ineffective, the Vols just weren't able to adjust fast enough. The OC seems willing to throw the contested ball to JJ, but Dobbs response time, that is his quickness to some degree limits him as an option QB.
Jones did not let Hurd down if there was a promise to make him a feature running back. I am not sure how there was a work around and in the end through little fault of his own Hurd was suffering from having to spearhead the attack.
I guess that phase of the rebuild is over, and at this point there appear to be adequate back ups. DeBord played the hand he was dealt with the commitment to Hurd and the two edged sword of Dobbs intense focus. I am not sure Jones has played it wrong showing a commitment to Dobbs and Hurd. It's about culture and this kind of stability in the roster hierarchy clearly lets players know what to the work ethic required. Sure performance is part of it but Dobbs and Hurd have carried the team far. I'd rather see a run than a flash. Yeah Hurd is done, and teams are learning how to play Dobbs. Kelly looks competitive. The D still has some fiber but continues to need to gain experience.
The Vols' identity is evolving.
Predictable.
Love GFW, but even he admits he's not tuned into the program anymore. Maybe an old source spread that rumor to him? Just sounds like more trash from our favorite barber.
Negative
Current players, unfortunately. Not just Hurd either
Practice intensity always seemed to cause more headaches than solutions...........
