Of course it is easier to recruit at tenn than Arkansas and that's exactly what has happened. Comparing the two at their current spots there isn't enough separation either way to say who is better at this point.

I wanted to see your answer because I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that you're implying Bielema gets a pass this year because he's a great coach even though his record and roster in the SEC west don't show it.

I saw stats somewhere that showed that UT/CBJ and UGA/MR got the least out of the most talent, while Ark/BB got the most out of the least. Pretty sure it was based on star/class rankings and W-L records for the past few years.

Georgia seems to have quite a bit of talent this year. At this point, it looks like Richt did alright after all.

I know AU routed them but they look as expected mostly.

Richt is a decent coach. Nothing special about the other two at all.

Just answered the question you posed as to why Arkansas coach should not recruit as well as UT coach.

If (I know BIG IF) Butch did give Hurd the option of labeling this a "transfer" or dismissal, I think that's a mistake. If he would have come out and said no player is bigger than our program and we have dismissed Jalen from the program, the national media would be talking very positively about him today.

Would have put an end to the knee jerk reactions of fans (me included).

If this is true, it shows that Butch did not want to crush Hurd's future.

jalens step dads facebook video says he missed second half of georgia game with concussion and a&m game. so yea he came back in at georgia. hope thats not a problem.

That's the excuse for the 3 time conference champ to not compete well on the recruiting trail?

Man couldn't pull Tenpenny(RIP) and he was in-state. Would've been the feature back in a run heavy system. They had to shut the school down for him to pull Alex Collins out of Florida. I'm not a Butch fan right now but Bielema is a mediocre coach. IMO Won't ever win a natty anywhere and with that being said I wouldn't want him here. I don't think he recruits well enough at all to make a program elite.

Absolutely. If true, it shows you how much of a player's coach he is. You can criticize him for maybe being soft on players, but this all started with a chewing ass at UGA. Butch basically took one for his player to make it look like better. You can't fault the man for what he does for his players IMO.

Recruiting to Arky and Tennessee are two different animals. Still a better coach.
