On something other than Hurd, I think they should start Dormady against TT. Give the staff some idea on what we are working with. No point getting Dobbs hurt and plus he is leading the SEC in turnovers and with QD we should still win handily. It's a performance position and when you're not producing see if the next man up can perform.

I don't really care how a team wins. Next year, no one outside our fan base will remember how we won. Does anyone care that a mediocre 7-5 UT team under Kiffin should have beaten the national champs in 2009? No, no one cares.

Up until Saturday, we had lost to two top 10 teams and had beaten two ranked teams (along with the other three having very good records).

I will be interested to see if anyone wants us to keep losing to force a change? That certainly came out under Dooley.

After how you talked so well how he handled your son. You going to roll with the quiter and F the coach. You really need to stand down. Hurd has been the issue with this team. Changes need to be made with staff and things but to go F Butch. SMH

How things can change so quickly. Fans are relentless. He is my coach until someone tells me otherwise.

I've seen plenty of examples of coordinators becoming a scapegoat for a poor head coach. This is the first time I can recall a player being in that role.

For some reason, a lot of posters get really heated on here during Butch's pressers. I don't really get it, but its a definite trend.

Aggies under performing with Sumlin
Hires a new DC
Star players transferring out
Hires a new OC

After all of this...steadies the ship and has them performing at a high level in a much tougher division.

Can we see a repeat of this cycle with our beloved Vols? Are Butch and the administration willing to make moves for the greater good and bring in 5 star coaches to DEVELOP 5 star talent?

You can do better. There have been good high points. But, they are two plays from being 3-5 and they rank in the back half of CFB on team O and team D with terrible turnover issues. They may be mediocre because of injuries or system, but they are mediocre. They started the season that way and are now clearly that way.

It's up to the staff and players to rally and change it.

Problem becomes the coordinator just doesn't belive Dobbs can get it to him consistently. I think this year Dobbs has pressed more and now we are seeing that he is a very below average passer with int and fumbles way up. I thinks it's a bad fit both ways.
