Welp..a loss to a terrible team coming off a bye...in year 4 no less.

We clearly had more talent on the field.

All these mistakes since the Texas AM game and no improvement and lack of disclipine, esp from a senior QB.

That's on CBJ.

After the year, needs to overhaul the Offense and the staff.

He's officially on a short leash.

Ok, trying to separate emotion from what happened. Here's what I've got.

1. Bad Snap: Vols driving, ball flies past Dobbs for about a 16 yard loss. Killed a drive

2. Wolf drops:
2 more this week. See a theme?

3. USCe TD: Due to injury. We are so thin now. I don't know who blew the coverage, but this was an injury score.

4. Dobbs Fumble: Another casualty of injury. 3rd string back is winded, and we have the 4th string guy in, causing an unbelievable fumble.

5. Hurd: I like Hurd. I have no comprehension for why they run him sideline to sideline.

6. Debord: Sorry sir. You've had some good moments, but this is SEC football. We can't live on good moments. We need complete games... and a lot of them.

7. Muschamp Curse: I'll be honest. I chose the Vols big, but was nervous. This cat has our number.

8. Butch: When you remove all of the talent, you see how good your coach is. We have known Butch is not the best, but he does a lot of things well. Fortunately, one of them is recruiting. When he has the talent around him, he can win, but he still needs to make some adjustments on offense.

9. Kelly: He is going to be really good, and is already.

10. Dobbs: I love this dude, but even with the bad OC calling today, Dobbs played really bad. He is so maddeningly inconsistent. If he takes back a couple of decisions, this is a win.

11. Bye-week: Inexcusable to see this after a bye.

12. Injuries: Keep it in mind. Take a look at our App State starting 22... or even 2 deep, and look at what we finished with today. This team is in terrible physical shape, and no matter what you say, this year is a mulligan, because NO ONE in the country loses the talent we have, and rolls unscathed.
That's what I got.

I get legit sick to my stomach watching fsu and clemson on offense. We have similar talent but are SO inept. It's sad man. Even lesser skilled teams look WAY better

We just need a QB that doesn't think so much and just reacts

Y'all know me, I'm a CBJ guy but there is absolutely zero excuse for this loss.

Don't care how many injuries we have. No excuse whatsoever.

I'm mad as hell about this one. My faith in Butch has taken a direct hit. Maybe I feel different tomorrow...

Might feel worse

Hurd doesn't run with the same passion he did his first 2 years here. He's never been the fastest guy, or had great blocking, but he always ran hard. I just haven't seen much of it this year. Maybe he's injured, but something is up with him.

Hurd IS more banged up than most realize, but that still doesn't explain the lack of offensive production.

No excuses.

100%. We have a SR QB and enough seasoned skill players to beat a terrible SCAR team with a FR QB making his second start. SCAR won't even make a bowl. We had enough tools to get a W, even it was the ugliest W ever. They've blown the season in the last three games. No excuses.

This is going to hurt recruiting and put pressure on Butch to make some changes. Remember that we are in the weakest division in years.

And what's worse? BARNETT HAD THREE SACKS the DEFENSE HAD SEVEN SACKS

Yep. Defense isn't the problem. Wasn't even the problem against TAMU. We were injured as hell and still would have won without seven turnovers. Offense has been a major, inexcusable disappointment.

Shoop is worth the money with what he's doing with 3rd and 4th stringers. Not to mention we will now have 4 count them FOUR DEs on the line of scrimmage

There appears to be some off the field problems with this team. I don't know this for sure but there is no definite leaders.

You have guys making stupid plays on every kick off or punt return. I want to see leaders chewing their a$$ out before they leave the field.

We have questions about severity of injuries or injuries at all. Think we may have some attitudes.

We look like a bunch of individuals trying to make it to the league and not a TEAM trying to win a championship.

I've said it before, something doesn't smell right with this team.

At least now I can be carefree as I watch the rest of these games. I am reminded of Dooley's last year. Once I knew Dooley was living on borrowed time I was able to watch the games with no concern for the outcome.

Agreed. This deep in the season and still have yet to play a complete game. I mean this is the same team that stood toe to toe with Bama on the road last year and demoralized Northwestern in the bowl game. Something ain't right.

I think we should fire Debord on Monday and name Gillespie OC. Benching Dobbs for Dormady or S. Jones shouldn't be out of the question either. Ride this year out and see how things go.

What a shame. A damn shame of a season.

The fumble was actually on Dobbs. Butch said that play was a run pass option in the post game. That means that CFA supposed to play as if he's getting the ball and it's Dobbs' job to adjust accordingly.
