Let's be real, any of us would've taken 2-2 the last 4 games and finishing 10-2. That's likely where we're headed. We were battered by injuries and ran into a great team at the end of a tough stretch.
Major bummer but not shocking. That team is stacked and our backups and third string players just weren't fast or strong enough to compete. Thank god we have a bye week.
I'm over it. It's what I and most reasonable people expected, just a bit worse. The injury situation set us up for an embarrassment. Playing bama every year is pretty sh****.
The question is
1) Can we get back enough players to be good enough to win out and win the East? One more SEC loss and we lose.
2) How bad will this hurt recruiting? This was supposed to be a huge day
3) Will this team fold under the stress and disappointment? I hope we are mentally tough
This might be an unpopular opinion but I think the injuries are due to not hitting at full speed during practice. How can they players body get used to the grind if the don't hit during practice
