The "official" Lost thread

One of the slowest and most boring shows I have ever had the displeasure to watch.:snoring: "Desperate Housewives" is much more exiciting in that the show really moves quickly. More happens in this show in one episode then on "Lost" the whole season. I cannot believe "Lost" has not been cancelled.

Why don't you start a Desperate Housewives thread. I'm sure you and all of the girls on VN will have a blast.

I don't think Aaron should be considered one of the six. Since they are saying that it is Kate's baby, then they must also be saying that she was pregnant with Aaron on the flight. That's my only guess how the baby is considered one of the six. But who knows???

claire was pregnant with aaron on the plane. i'm not sure what you are saying?

I'll have to watch the last episode over because the Belmont over Duke tease caused me to miss the first 30 minutes. Thank God for DVR's.

For all the junkies like me:

Lost returns this Thursday April 24th.

Been re-watching season 4 again to refresh my memory.

Also this seems like a good time to annouce for those that didn't know......

The Lost season finale is no longer a 2 hour finale. The writers said it just wouldn't work with what they want to do.

So instead they're adding an extra hour to make it a 3 hour finale. Muahahahaha!!! :the_finger:

They said there's too much they want to reveal for two hours. First hour airs May 15th. Second two hours of the finale May 29th.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad they moved the show back an hour so that I can watch The Office first.

Lost 4x09 on tonight

Locke's camp comes under attack, and Jack tries to discover the identity of a body that has washed ashore. Guest starring are Ken Leung as Miles, Jeremy Davies as Daniel Faraday, Rebecca Mader as Charlotte, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Tania Raymonde as Alex, Alan Dale as Charles Widmore, Marc Vann as doctor, Kevin Durand as Keamy, Yetide Badaki as desk clerk, Kaveh Kardan as merchant, Faran Tahir as Ishmael Bakir and Sean Douglas Hoban as Doug.

Wow. The body count was big tonight. Didn't see Ben's daughter getting killed. Interesting that Ben could control the "black smoke."

Also, opens the door for the "afterlife," with Sayid and Ben on the hunt. . . .

Does anyone else not understand/hate the black cloud of smoke???

I think its terrible and stupid. Lost is probably my favorite show on TV but that is the one thing I flat out can't stand.

One of the most boring shows on TV. More happens in one episode of "Desperate Housewifes" then in a whole season of "Lost". They LOST my viewing in the 2nd season.

Lots of death the last two episodes. I'm wondering if Rousseau is really dead. We all know how screwy the island is.

It's interesting how protective Sawyer is of Hurley now.

Anybody else notice the turd eating grin Ben got after Sayid asked who was next?

Yes I did! Did anyone hear Ben refer to changing the rules when held up in the house? It came up at the end too when he was paying a visit to (can't remember name) in the middle of the night. I can see a cliff hanger brewing with Ben trying to kill Penelope and Desmond trying to come to her rescue. Maybe that is how Desmond dies?

Actually I love it. It still retains the mystery felt from season 1. I'd guess we won't know the truth about smokey till the final season.

I wonder if Ben will have Sayid involved in that someway. After all, he is Ben's hitman. Would make an interesting episode.

It's just so random and terribly farfetched. Even for the screwy island.

I'm trying to go at the show with no expectations. I mean we have dead people randomly re-appearing. Wounds heal miraculously fast. A mysterious cabin that isn't in the same place twice, occupied by an invisible guy mind you that leads The Others. And then there's the 4 toed statue as well.

A cloud of black smoke doesn't sound so odd to me. :)

Although like I said earlier, I'm betting as more is explained about it, it might not be as odd and random. Last night's episode was a big reveal regarding smokey.

Yea I mean I get all that, it's just kind of cheesy..."The big bad cloud of smoke". We'll see once we know more.

I got a kick out of that description when I read it last week after watching the show.

"Jack tries to discover the identity of a body that has washed ashore."

Less than one minute into the show the body washes up, Jack asks who is this man, and Faraday says, it's the doctor from our ship. Lmao, the great mystery is solved. :eek:lol:
