Ordered me a new 2016 Unlimited yesterday. I'm pretty pumped! I owned a 4-cyl Wrangler for a period of time back several years ago. It wouldn't fall out of a tree if you pushed it, but it's nice to get back into the club with a more suitable model. It's going to be a long 6-8 weeks waiting!

Saw this the other day.

I went with the 6-speed manual and soft top. Manual windows and locks. I did go with the 3.73 gears. I'd been on the prowl for a Jeep for a while and this past weekend, I noticed a new ad on my local dealership's webpage offering a free lift kit + wheel + tire upgrade for new 2016 Wrangler purchases. So when I go in to talk to them about ordering a Jeep, I mentioned the ad to my salesman. He talks to his manager.....who says, "It is only a lift kit...and you take it with you. No wheels or tires." I pointed out to my salesman what exactly the ad offers. He talks to the sales manager again and comes back with some line about, "As best as the sales manager knows, it's only for a lift kit. We don't have anything to do with it anyway. That's something to do with the parts department." After stewing about it for a few more minutes, I mention it again to my salesman and inform him that the lift kit (which he says is about $1200...we shall see)...plus tire and wheel upgrade, is the make or break point for the sale. I was planning on doing all that on my own after purchase, but in order to get the financing that I wanted, I had to pony up more cash for down payment, erasing my wheel/tire/lift budget. Needless to say....I'm getting a free lift kit and free wheel and tire upgrade and I got that in writing from the sales manager.

They pulled that ad/offer from their website while I was still in the showroom.

Wish the dealerships around me would offer free lifts and tires. I have a '14 6-speed granite color with power T above the jeep logo on the side front and rear tow hooks wheel inserts and shock boots are orange

The Jeep pictured above has a MSRP of $33k. With the "powerhouse" package the dealership added on, the price jumped to $41k. I didn't notice anything extra added to that Jeep aside from the lift, tires, and wheels. They had a granite one a few months ago, soft top, lifted with a different set of wheels and tires than the green one above, and it's MSRP was just under $33k, sticker just under $40k. Both "powerhouse" packages were $7859. I hope that's what I'm getting for free.

need to get more pictures of my jeep in the daylight.. Best jeep dealer I have around me is in Ringgold, Ga. have their own off-road garage right across the street, so they always have packaged deals but that is cost increase. http://www.4wd.com has some good offers right now for free shipping and they pay the sale tax going on till the 31st. If you want to get some parts quick

I went a snapped a few pics of the hypergreen Jeep on the lot. They've added matching wheel inserts which are a really nice look, IMO. Can anybody make a guess as to the lift package installed? Looks like no more than a 2" suspension lift to me.

I would guess a 2.5" lift. Not good at the conversion but guess those are 33's

I'd like to change to LED lights and fogs with halos and add a light bar. Is that a job I can tackle, or do I need to find a custom shop?

You can do it if you can read instructions and have simple hand tools. Those are costly items if you buy dependable ones
