1) the fall
2) the flood
3) the Messiah...heck Christians even stole Jesus' birthday from the Pagans.

And that's true, why, because you read it on the internet somewhere? No, Christianity didn't steal from pagan myths. The whole mithra and Horus stuff is a bunch of internet bunk that is being perpetuated by fools, more gullible than any religious nut.

Find me in the bible where Jesus birthday is identified as pertaining to the Roman calendar? It isn't.

Unlike you, i've invested time studying this subject. I'm going to give you a pass. Bring it up again, and i'll embarrass you with the facts.

I'm not a Christian but of the people that I believe to be true Christians live their life in and by that book. They may not have read word for word every single page but they study it constantly and definitely don't need a non-believer interpreting it for them.

If I thought you were posting this with even a touch of ironic self-criticism, I would have given this a "like."

You're not, however. You sincerely believe that me telling you to keep your religious beliefs out of the public sphere, where they have no place, is limiting your freedom. Of course you can interject your unfounded beliefs into our public policies if you so desire. That doesn't make it advisable or smart though.

Like I told Roust, you're free to interject your unfounded nonsense into our science, otherwise known as our "secular democracy." But that doesn't mean it's smart or advisable. We don't need public policy formulated upon first century ideas about how the universe and societies work.

While there's no doubt that would produce a far better society, no, that is not what I've said.

Me telling you to keep your unfounded nonsense out of our public policy is not the same as me telling you that you should not be able to use that same nonsense to approach public policy.

You need to learn to read good and do other things better.

I've also studied enough myths to know that many predate the Bible...look there is no way that the Earth is as young as Christians claim...there were other civilizations in other parts of the world during the time of the flood, so there was no global flood. Keep believing if you want but there are fewer and fewer of you guys each year.

Your arrogance is ridiculous.

Most of our government is founded on principles older than the 1st century. Further, last i checked, it's a direct contradiction of Christian doctrine to implement a theocracy. so, when you say don't impose your religion on me, you are actually contradicting yourself.

The US has a rich history of non-theocratic rule, with overt Christian practice within its boundaries. Get over yourself.
