Gatlin is older than Bolt.
And sub 10 is nothing these days... the world record is 9.58 ,ran by Bolt.
Bolt has dominated for about 10 years, but he started that domination at an early age. Barely 20 and he was already the worlds fastest man.
This is his last go probably.
And the same goes for Gatlin.

I'd like to see Gatlin win it--but IMO his only chance is if Bolt has a slow start. Bolt, early in his career, was a somewhat slow starter, but that hasn't been the case for a while--and at top speed, with those long legs, he's just faster than anybody.

Gatlin came of the gates lightening fast and even slowed down towards the end and still ran 9.94. Bolt came out slow and ran a 9.86 slowing up at the end. If Gatlin gets the same start he did during the semis it might be just enough of the jump he needs to overtake Bolt.

Either way will be an epic final.
