Hope we use him in a SLB/DE Hybrid type of role personally.

They said in the spring that Austin Smith would also play OLB in the base 4-3 packages like Curt Maggitt.

He's a DE in the 4-2-5 and a LB in the 4-3.

Florida gave up 45 sacks last year? Wow. Had no idea. That's at least as bad and maybe worse than we did in 2010 and 2014 I believe.

I'm glad you said this D4H. I was getting ready to say he would be a better fit at LB. We're too loaded at DE for him to see many snaps & need him more at LB.

He very well could be a hybrid LB/DE player but I personally think LB is his best position. Maybe give him a couple of snaps at DE to rush the QB as well on 3rd down every once in a while.
