Not a lot of talk about Croom this camp but he is my pick to click.

He and Dobbs have some good chemistry together and I think he is a going to be a nightmare for defenses to cover

I think Dobbs missed him last year. Some BIG plays the previous season.

If Ellis running free in the Northwestern secondary is an indication of what's to come, Croom should beast it this year. Just gotta throw it out there.

The TE combo on Ethan Wolf & Croom is going to be a nightmare for opposing defenses.

It will if Croom gets physical. He looks the part for sure. As usual he will be a huge weapon in the orange zone. Wolf is a stud and already playing the part.

Combine the individual strengths of Dobbs and Dormady and you get JG. Amazing to see a freshman that prepared. D-Watson level stuff when he came on the scene. Hope he picks up 5-10 more pounds of muscle this year. The players love him.

FWIW - Medley will have a year like we all hoped he would have and Daniel may be the best punter to ever wear orange when he's done. When the ball goes off Trevor's foot there is a sound you don't hear from others. Then it goes to the clouds and visits for awhile after going 50+ against the wind.

Yup, we verbally spar...good for him. :)

Can't do it in front of my wife though, she thinks I'm letting him argue with me.

There's never a boy good enough for your daughter until there is one. Here's to hoping that time is far away for both of us...my daughter is 11 :hi:

I hope that you're right about Medley. We're probably gonna need him to come through on kicks in at least 3 games. I'm talking about game winning or game losing kicks.

Smith is absolutely having a great camp.

PW, Malone, and Smith are the 3 key receivers with Byrd, Johnson, and Jennings as solid backups.

What's crazy is that the entire WR corps will be intact heading into 2017 (with a ridiculously stout OL to boot).

Whether QD or JG wins the job, they will put up huge numbers due to having so many weapons around them.

Not taking away from the others, but no mention of Callaway baffles me, since he clearly is performing in camp at a high level. Long ball threat. He's going to be ready.

Drilled every kick today through makeshift uprights that had been brought in about 5+ feet on each side. One was from around 52 yards that flew over the tower. Had a light helping breeze, but still, that would have been good from 60+ even without it.

That's all good but Medley has struggled more with his accuracy than his length. Medley has the leg to go 50+ at any time. It's his inaccurate kicking that didn't allow Butch to take many chances on him from the range last season.
