Anyone else watching the Libertarian town hall? It feels really odd to actually find candidates likable this cycle. They're not perfect but goodness do they blow away the major party offerings.

Remember Trump polled poorly throughout the primaries.

He needs to get his **** together though. He's been just flying by the seat of his pants. He needs to dial it in and focus on winning an election. It's more than just blabbering about whatever he wants to talk about.

He needs to jump all over this and hammer Hillary for it

It's refreshing to hear people with proven executive records discuss actual policy issues. Also, the addition of AC didn't hurt. :)

Weld would make mincemeat of Pence and Kaine in a VP debate.

Feels nice to be able to vote for candidates that you'd actually like to hold the office

Trump seems to be falling in the polls. This fall is alleged to be in response to some of his usual "over the top banter" that he's been using this week and since the convention.

I've believed all along that Trump may have very well been a plant by the DNC. I think now he may be going in self destruct mode to insure his buddy, HRC, gets the presidency.

Number one, I am not a Trump fan. Would I rather see him in there than a cheating, lying, communist, criminal, HRC? Absolutely.

Anyone with half a brain can see Trump seems to be intentionally sabotaging his own campaign. Also, if you don't think collusion amongst the powers in American politics, you're living in a fantasy land.

AZ -3
GA tied
MI -9
NH -15
TN +16
PA -13
(Trump campaign for some reason see AZ, GA, TN as swing states)

If these numbers were to hold the Republicans would lose the senate. Also Trump and the RNC have 90 days to fund and execute an effective state by state ground operation. That's nearly impossible and it's never been done before. The RNC has stated already that if they see Trumps poll number start to dive they will abandon him to give more support to the senate, house and other down ballot candidates.

Trump is going to lose, the R will also lose the Senate. It's over.

I've seen that theory a few times. Not sure I buy into it.
