I'm fired up for this season.


Show me a team on that schedule who can shut down our running game.

Show me an offense on the schedule that can put up a lot of points on this defense.

Old school football. Run the ball, control the clock, play tough defense..... And SPECIAL TEAMS WINS GAMES!

Yeah, it's more of the players on the roster that I think will see the field this season type depth chart. :p

It's really hard to place players on their proper depth chart positions because of the unknown stuff. Like Tuttle's injury. Butcher playing both DE & DT. Kongbo playing inside some even though edge pass rushing is his specialty.

The battles in the secondary are what's really interesting. Nobody really knows who's gonna play where except for Cam being a lock at one corner & TK Jr & Gaulden at the safeties.

The depth behind them is a question. Foreman at NB is a guarantee too but the depth behind him for NB is very questionable.

LB too is a toss-up after JRM & Kirkland. It could be a number of players next in line. Sapp has been bragged on quite a bit by the coaching so I expect him to be the 3rd LB. After him it's a mess to be honest.

Nobody really stands out after these 3 players. I always thought McDowell would end up one day taking over obviously at a LB position but he's not done it. He's been more of a special teams freak.

I know random, but it got me thinking after reading practice updates and when they spoke of the kids working at safety, Berry wasn't one of them... hope they find the field soon!

Love this team. I'm so excited about the season. I fully believe that the rest of the FBS has no idea what's coming. They still talk like we're yesterday's news. They won't know what hit them. That being said however, would love a big recruiting boom. This team has all the momentum on the field, would love to see a big get like Chandler or Smith before the season starts to stop all the 3*U talk

Don't get me wrong I would have loved to win more last season but I think it sets us up for an absolute killer season this year.

The Vols are back and are going to make a big statement. They hype is real and loud but the results will be even bigger.

Prepare for total domination.

I left Dillon Bates off because he's nowhere in site for this team for whatever reason. I mean a 4* commit & he's shown nothing.

They used a redshirt last year on him & hopefully that extra work with him will improve his game bigtime & help whatever is holding him back.

I got a feeling if something doesn't happen to get him on the field this season Dillon is out of here. He will transfer to another school that gives him a chance to play.

I am just in shock he's not played more since coming here to Knoxville. He wasn't a 4* recruit for nothing but let's hope he gets it together because we don't want him to leave/transfer to another school. Thanks!
