2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Apparently he's registered to vote in Maryland where he used to live although he lives in Africa now. Since he probably was a democrat voter in the past does it matter if he is a legal resident or citizen, he was breathing, therefor a qualified voter.

Sometimes that breathing thing is optional as well when it comes to DNC votes.

Nailed it.

Oh my, Hillary is a sad panda.

Clinton says there is an unfair 'Hillary standard' on trust and honesty - CNNPolitics.com

Hillary Clinton "felt sad" watching a Republican National Convention that was mostly about "criticizing me," she said an interview aired Sunday night on CBS' "60 Minutes."

"I seem to be the only unifying theme that they had," the presumptive Democratic nominee said. "There was no positive agenda. It was a very dark, divisive campaign. And the people who were speaking were painting a picture of our country that I did not recognize -- you know, negative, scapegoating, fear, bigotry, smears. I just was so -- I was saddened by it."

However, it is rather interesting the word she used to describe the campaign. I don't think we've heard the word "dark" used in conjunction with the Trump campaign before...

Nice post cenvention bounce:

Trump bounces into the lead - CNNPolitics.com

Donald Trump comes out of his convention ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House, topping her 44% to 39% in a four-way matchup including Gary Johnson (9%) and Jill Stein (3%) and by three points in a two-way head-to-head, 48% to 45%. That latter finding represents a 6-point convention bounce for Trump, which are traditionally measured in two-way matchups.

There hasn't been a significant post-convention bounce in CNN's polling since 2000. That year Al Gore and George W. Bush both boosted their numbers by an identical 8 points post-convention before ultimately battling all the way to the Supreme Court

I'm sure 8188 is going into a fit of rage. And LG is at home:

On CBS Evening News last night Major Garrett closed his report by saying there is a rumor Roger Ailes may join the Trump campaign after his departure from Fox, if not outright take full control. He has had success running campaigns before, HW Bush comes to mind.

Anybody else heard this?

Bob Dole telling it like it is:

Bob Dole: Obama Is Nice, But Trump Is a Strong Leader | Fox Business

"You're not going to do anything without Congress, and Trump has worked all of his life with other people making deals," he says.

Dole says his fondest memories of working in politics and running for president were the people that he met along the way.

"Making friends from all over including Democrats, Republicans and Independents and working together. You have to put your arms around everyone," he says.

I know the truth is so bothersome. God forbid someone disagree with you!

Do you guys want me to make a safe zone thread? I think some of you could use it

I'm sorry but was my answer over your head?

Hint: It's a quote from another strong leader that is not Hitler.

Bernie supporters in Philly are saying they'd rather have 4 years of a do-nothing Trump than HRC.

I think Hilary would be the more likely do nothing. She's so hated she would have trouble getting anything passed.

Trump on the other hand will get the support the democrats because he's pushing their agenda and many republicans will support him because of his party affiliation
