I agree. Last season proved the improvement needs to also be made in game day coaching in the 2nd half

I would go to the 247 composite, sort it with the highest rated from TN and pick the top 10. Then I'd take it and sort the top 15 in the nation, excluding Tennessee, and I'd pick those guys.

Then no one could question my choices.

If none of those guys were O-Line I would question it. If you took the top 15 out of state guys, there's a really good chance you would be missing a lot of positions on your team.

I truly believe that we have the best offense in the SEC. Couple that with this Shoop defense and I don't believe that there is a team in the country that we can't beat. This should be a championship team. I'm ready for the season to get here already!

I love Dobbs so much. I don't think we could have a better leader and player going into this season.

I wouldn't be shocked if he takes a big step forward this year as a passer too. Watching that Kamara video reminded me a lot about how shaky even some his easy throws were (and Kamara was good enough to haul them in anyways). That's the kinda thing that if he improves, it takes us to the next level.

I keep thinking that's what's gonna happen too. But I hope Richmond is just too good not to play. Kendrick would be a great 6th lineman to have, because you can really plug him in anywhere.

Three-star senior defensive end Deandre Johnson of Miami (Fla.) Southridge High School told GoVols247 on Thursday morning that he has arrived at Tennessee to take his first look at the Vols during their final camp of the summer.

The 6-foot-4, 236-pound Johnson received a scholarship offer from Tennessee more than a month ago and recently has referred to the Vols as one of two teams standing out to him. He told 247Sports' Paul Jones last week that he's currently deciding "between Mississippi State and Tennessee," and he could "end up making a decision in early August."

Johnson is ranked the nation's No. 717 overall prospect and No. 38 weakside defensive end in the 247Sports Composite for the 2017 class.

I'm a little concerned that Richmond will transfer if he doesn't start this season. He seemed very unhappy last season due to redshirting. I understand that you have to play your best players, but I think Richmond will eventually be great. Would suck to lose him if Kendrick is maybe 5% better and gets the starting nod all season.
