Gaddy Brothers commit to Tennessee

That's 20 commits, so yea 5 or 6 spots left is about right. Just enough room for Akers, Chandler, Holliman, Smith, Gibbs, and (wild card) Lamont Wade. Hey, I can dream can't I? More than likely it will be a mix of one or two of our remaining high 4 and 5 star targets and a couple of 3 stars, for a final class ranking in the 14-18 range. Considering, how good the in-state class was for 2017, that's kind of a disappointing ranking, should it play out like that. This is all assuming that there are no defections or players asked to re-considered in favor of a better recruit, which we all know will happen.

Some will be told to look elsewhere.

This is were championships are won and lost (generally speaking). DT's are hard to come by and CBJ is addressing the depth needed at this position to win in the SEC and nationally as well. Good job Butch.

There was a time (not that long ago), UT couldn't even get quality Defensive Lineman to visit. No doubt CBJ and staff have done pretty amazing attracting quality DT's and DE's both.

Nice getting those two. Always on the lookout for quality lineman on both sides of the ball.

Will Jalen Mckenzie be a commit or a walk on?

I really don't know how hard they are going after the younger Mackenzie. With Locklear and Tucker already committed and players like Eze, Smith, and Ross still being recruited I don't think Mackenzie is still be recruited by UT coaches. They would most likely accept him as a walk-on, but I'm sure Mackenzie is looking to play somewhere where he can get a scholarship and actually play a lot.

Can you imagine being im the backfield against them in a HS game? My HS had a 2* and 3* caliber DTs and we ****ed everybody up.

Really happy about these two. They are not just big bodies they can move. I know one loves to run the ball and play tight end.
Piling up talent.

It's my understanding Jalen is forecasted to be and playing as an OL? Has that changed?

Could be another Berry brothers situation. Remember when everybody was speculating when they were going to commit and if we were really recruiting them that hard? LMAO!
