Unfortunately, I agree. Like LWS said, which I first disagreed with, we have become or are becoming a 2nd tier football program. Sucks to admit that, but that's where we are if things don't get turned around this season.

My expectation for this team is 10-2. I believe that we can at least split the 4 toss ups. While 9-3 would be below my expectations, I would still be alright with it.

1. It's an improvement from last season.

2. We can still win the East with that record.

He's definitely reserved in his enthusiasm, but even he seems really optimistic about this year.

I agree. But I don't agree with him in thinking that UT is a second-tier program.

We were in danger of being there if Hart botched the post-Dooley hire and obstacles hadn't been removed from the AD side of things. But now with Butch in place (who has greatly improved the roster and stabilized the program) and potential replacements for Cheek and Hart on deck, we could be on the cusp of smooth sailing in football for years to come.

Only thick-headed southern men would think that hiring people to teach about sexual assault was "over the top." I suppose they don't read the news--sexual assault is a serious problem.
