I want to see us whip Florida at the line of scrimmage this year. I think there's a good chance it happens.

Georgia is -1 and Bama is -3. I'm guessing that's the only two games we are not favored in and they are basically both pick ems.

I'll take that for now. Once we actually start playing, I expect those will go away too. :)

Edit: Staying away from the Pat conversation. I've known her since I was a little boy.

No chance unless florida losses a game or 2 before which won't happen

This game is a 6-10pt line at kick

On sheer talent, I like the line where it is but this game is rarely about which team is more talented. Unless our guys let 11 years of frustration translate to the scoreboard, which very well could happen, I agree.

Though, I'd much rather this turn into a 1995 UT v. Alabama-type game...just a whole lot of scoreboard catharsis.

We get it. You don't like how recruiting is managed under the current coaching staff. We all know your stance on it, and it's obvious the coaches aren't going to change. There's no need to repeat your opinion in every single thread. Give it a rest.

Every thread? Nah. Maybe 10-15% of them. Coaches can change. At times it's good to adapt. Hopefully they will. While the 3* caliber recruits are ok with me, it's quite clear recruiting isn't what it use to be. Something is definitely off. If you ignore it for too long, it could have a big impact.

Isn't what it used to be since when? Jones has turned things around and brought us 3 solid recruiting classes in a row. He has shown he can recruit. Why should we expect anything different now?

If we ignore you for too long, will it have an impact?

The roster looks good. The 2016 class took a bit of a step back IMO. Most said it was because of only taking 21. The 2017 class looks to be continuing on the same trend. We'll see.

Floridas still going to have a nasty defense. Especially since we play them so early, they are always still fresh. They also never play any tough games before us. It will still be a tossup imo because of their defense. In a really close game they have the advantage, because of the streak weighing so heavily. It makes the coaches and players tight. If we can get some separation in the score, this time I think the defense holds it. I think we win 24-13

That would be awesome. I want a no doubt, total obliteration kind of game. I can not see that happening though.

We will put more points on them in Neyland this year than we did down there last year. Both sides of the ball will be improved. I don't think UF can say that.
