Dallas is going to be his own agent...lol with all joking aside that's awesome Dallas for setting a real obtainable goal that you can accomplish. Please focus on this goal first before basketball.

lol I can take a good hearted joke. I'm not that thin skinned. Hell, if I'm going to be a lawyer, I better not. Haha

I might have mentioned it before, but at one point I had considered going into law after I finished my degree in history. I decided not, I just don't have the focus and commitment to do something like that. I do respect those who get into that field, and wish you the best of luck if that's indeed where you end up.

This happens everytime. Dallas says something so ridiculously stupid and assurd that everyone craps on the kid and tells him he's unrealistic (and childish even). Then another poster comes along and is like "Awh Dal is just a kid guys". Then everyone else jumps on the "apologetic train" and says overly-pseudo nice words to comfort the kid.

Its honestly pathetic. You guys aren't being mean. you're being truthful. Its clear Dallas won't ever play in the NBA (like only 1% of basketball players even sniff ths pros, right) so saying that isn't rude. Hell, none of us in here will sniff professional sports. Thats the reality. And Dallas has said a LOT of stupid **** in here. Do you really think he has the intelligence to push through law school?

He may be a great, nice young fella. But this kissing up to him because "you may have hurt his feelings" is just as unproductive to Dallas as telling him he won't make the NBA.

Agree 100%

In what world is obtaining a law degree "realistic" for an ADULT who can't even stay home by himself and didn't learn how to tie his own shoes until he was 18 or 19?

Just a few months back this same guy had made up a string of elaborate lies about playing on his high school team.

Give this MAN no more sympathy.

In no way, shape or form am I using this as an excuse, but a trait of autism is that the difficult to most, is easy, while the easy to most is difficult.

Dallas can lie with the best of them. A lawyer is his ceiling, used car salesman is more realistic. But I'm not going to hate on a kid for wanting to go to school and have a dream. It's one thing to laugh at his NBA dream but I think it's pretty low saying he can't go to school and become something. That's achievable. Not the silly NBA dream.

Pretty low down of you.

Indy, I think it's obvious there are some of us who genuinely like the guy. Sometimes we have harsh words, sometimes we have kind words. Sometimes we choose the wrong one. Let Dallas be Dallas, let's try and keep it positive. I know I sometimes get frustrated and it shows in my posts...But I 100% wish him the best.

I care about the guy about as much as you can care about a guy that you've never met in real life.

I just get really tired of this thread and every other thread in here being turned into a thread about one guy's personal life. The same guy who constantly gets caught in lies.

It's not like you and I, or anyone else constantly post about our personal lives on here. Nobody knows where we went to school, what he studied, where we work, what we do for fun, what our plans for the future are.... Because this is a Tennessee basketball forum.

The best Dallas posts are the ones where he tells us what Lamonte Turner tweeted, not the ones where he says he's working with Lamonte Turner's trainer to get to the NBA. You know what I mean?

But like you said, I DON'T care about the guy. I CARE about my wife, my parents, my grandparents, my sister, etc. I wouldn't say I genuinely CARE about anyone I've never met in real life.
