What was silly is that Ramsay could have also hit Jon Snow but didn't.

That the hail of arrows missed him

And most of all, that Winterfell that supposedly would withstand a long siege had the front door busted down by a weary and wounded giant beating on it a few times.

Still a good episode.

They brought Rickon back to say 0 lines and die after 3 appearances. I predict that Walder Frey eats it hard next week. Arya or Brienne or Jaime somebody will kill him

Baelish just keeps winning. He's going to end up on the Iron Throne at the end of the series. He plays the game better than anyone.

from a production value standpoint, last night's episode was absolutely fantastic. that tracking shot of jon in the middle of battle was ****ing incredible. also thought that they edited the "run rickon run" sequence perfectly. that was very intense. the whole episode was very intense, and it was all so sweepingly cinematic and perfectly shot and edited. great stuff.

jon is kind of a **** commander though. completely fell into Ramsay's trap. extremely lucky as freck he even survived, let alone not even get severely injured.

i'm honestly going to miss Ramsay. Such a fun, sadistic character. Was quite an awesome and satisfactory way for him to go out though. Only regret is that Theon wasn't there to see it as well.

I think next episode would be more about cersei, and she taking down high sparrow. Walder frey might not have much TV time to finish that part of the story!

You remember the scene in season one when he was standing in the throne room staring at the Iron throne when Varys walked in? And that scene when Varys said Chaos is an abyss that would suck everyone into it, and Lil Finga said..No it's a ladder for people who have ambition.? That snake is the cause of all the death and destruction in the kingdoms. He has literally orchestrated the whole thing. I've wondered if that is where all this is headed. But he had no way of knowing anything about the WW, or Dany hatching dragons, and bringing the whole Dothraki nation to Westeros.

Wasn't even that part where I was like "woah Jon wtf are you doing?!"

Was talking more about after rickon was killed, and Jon just straight up charges Ramsays army himself. Talk about a death wish good lord.

People expect every aspect of Game of Thrones to be supremely realistic and I don't understand. The show has dragons, forest children, and snow zombies ...

If the show made sure every minor detail was real, everyone would be dead by now.

Best episode of any TV show I've seen last night. Jon getting trampled had me ridiculously stressed out.

Yeah but GoT is still good about being pretty realistic with situations. A lot of times characters died when they were in a crap situation where other shows would have them find a way out of it safely. But recently some characters are showing some plot armor, but its okay because in real life people survive great odds too. GoT has a nice balance of that. Surviving great odds and failing against great odds. So I'm cool when a character survives against odds, cause many characters haven't. GoT is fantasy, but a realistic fantasy if that makes sense. Lol

I can understand that. It is funny that Tommen latched onto a piece of "wisdom" that Cersei uttered while talking out of her ass to the High Sparrow. I just think it's long past time that he either grow as a character or GTFO.

I have only seen a couple of episodes (I saw the one where the Starks get massacred and where Dani's brother gets a gold crown - pretty cool!) but I watched last night and I'm curious who was the giant that gets shot through the eye? I guess that was a really sad moment? Are there any more of those guys? Any army with just a few of them would be pretty tough.

Knowing the title of the next episode, one can assume that the final scene will probably involve the white walkers finally passing the wall somehow.

You mean like how the arrow that killed Rickon came horizontally through him instead of on the downward arc it would have had to have flown on?
