HBO's "Game of Thrones"

3 > 1 > 6 > 4 > 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 5

If we are ranking the seasons just based on the first five episodes:

6>4>3>1>2>5

Although I'm admittedly struggling to remember everything that happened in the first half of seasons 2 and 3.

The second half of season 4 was unbelievable, though. I don't really see the second half of this season being at that level. Outside of Kings Landing, I think things will slow down considerably the next two episodes.

Gosh, I don't know about that. There are multiple storylines aimed to intersect and the past two episodes have ended with epic scenes. This season has been amazing.

I hope I'm wrong. I see things slowing down a bit (again, outside of kings landing) over the next two episodes and then picking back up for the last three.

Given how much momentum has been built up and the amount of content yet to be covered, I don't see how HBO could afford even one slowed down episode

How gruesome of a death does the High Sparrow recieve? Perhaps some FrankenMountain head-crushing action? Cersei kills him herself? Or boring sword to the chest from the Tyrell army?

Last shot of season 6 predictions?

I'm going with WWs destroying the wall/passing through it and slaughtering everyone at Castle Black, setting the stage for the show's ultimate showdown in seasons 7/8.

Jamie gives him the "Mad King" treatment while Franken-Mountain eviscerates his entire cult.

Honestly I can't find it in myself to say season 5 is so much worse than the others. I'm not a book reader though. But season 5 had some epic episodes. Honestly I would say go with

4>3>6>5>1>2

2 is the one that's most hazy on my mind. And I remember actually being not sure about the series for the first 8 episodes of season one. I thought it was kinda slowww. But episode 9 of season one hooked me. The slow build was very much paid off. Its still one of the most shocking things I've watched.

Also season 6 may surpass them all at this rate. Every episode besides episode one has been 10/10 worthy stuff. Episode one was solid too besides the Dorne stuff. Like wtf? I know season 5 had the Dorne stuff but everything else that season was pretty great.

I'm not sure how that will work. Supposedly the wall isn't just a big wall of ice. It was created with magic barriers also. I can't remember how much they addressed that in the show now, but in the book there's a character that cannot pass the wall. I imagine there will be more upcoming on the Horn of Joramun. The Night King/White Walkers will need that to get past the wall probably.

Or maybe he can work the same trick with Bran that allowed him to beat the magic barrier at the weirwood tree last episode.

The Night King touching Bran will supposedly break the magic barrier on the wall once he passes through it.

every time someone says Night King I think of nightman

Not the same for me. Fictional creatures is one thing. But playing with time is different. Saying Bran can affect the past time either means alternate dimesions, paradoxes, multiple timelines, or something.

Not necessarily. A stable loop is possible where events that have happened always did, but that also means every character's destiny is 100% locked in already and impossible to change.

Any guesses on what events might have Bran's direct influence? Here's a few (these are pure speculation and shots in the dark; fyi. I've not read the books):

- He intentionally leads his younger self to climb the tower that leads to his own paralysis
- Responsible for the wedding gift Dany receives from the merchant (dragon eggs).
- Wargs King Aries in an attempt to change history but makes things worse by breaking his mind; sparking Robert Rebellion
- Responsible for Benjen's disappearance
- Leads the Red Woman to Stannis
- Stops Tywin from killing Tyrion after his birth

How could Bran, who wasn't born, affect teenage Wylis 20-30 years in the past so that when Bran is born, Wylis is already Hodor because of Bran and the events north of the wall? Unless we're witnessing the 2nd or 3rd or time this has happened.

This isn't like Back to the Future time travel. There was a clear history that happened and all the characters had lived their lives. Marty went back to the past and changed events and we see the differences in current day. Game of Thrones is different. It seems to be suggesting that Wylis never had a normal life. That he's always been Hodor and messed up in the head since he was a teenager because of Bran.....who was still years from being born.

White Walkers can't just pass through the wall. The Wall is protected by magic that the Children of the Forest put on it.

Bran passing through it is supposed to break the magic due to the Night King touching him

Obviously the WWs will pass through the wall eventually. Otherwise they pose no threat to Westeros and are irrelevant in the storyline.

The one to get past the wall is to bring it down. And the only way to bring it down is with the Horn of Winter and the Nights Watch has the horn because the found when they went to the Fist of the First Men. The other way would be for the White Walkers to use dark magic.
