HBO's "Game of Thrones"

The speartip was made from obsidian (dragon glass), which kills white walkers. Whether the spear was Meera's or the children's, not sure. Both have access to dragon glass.

These were the spears hanging on the wall?

I apologize..I have yet to sit down and rewatch the episode...only a car wash away..

So, apparently everyone knows but me so I'll just ask. 1. What was it about hearing her say "Hold the door" that caused young Hodor to collapse into seizures and 2. What did Meera see/hear that caused her to freak out and run outside? TIA.

I'm thinking it was because of Bran's timewalkin' and Willis hearing Meera screaming and something about space time continuum and physics and high fantasy..I dunno.

And does anyone think that when Bran saw the forest kids making the white walker...is that the white walker king perhaps?

2. She felt/saw the air getting colder. It's a sign that the WW are near.

That also happens when you drink too much..wake up and be like "what the crap are you doing here Shamu, and what did you do with the supermodel I came home with?"

I can confirm from experience.... more times than I care to try to remember!

And do you dwell on it when Shamu puts a piece of jewelry on and is back out of your league?

1. My understanding of this was Bran, hearing Meera's pleas for Hodor to hold the door, attempted to warg into young Hodor to control the present Hodor - which worked but basically melted young Hodor's mind and sacrificed present day Hodor to the WW's.

The connection of young and present day Hodor via Bran in that short moment explains why Hodor basically lived his entire life without being able to speak any other words.

Bran was co-located in the past and present. He took control of Hodor in the present but since he was also there with him in the courtyard Willis/Hodor became connected to Hodor's currently reality (zombies, hold the door, being killed). Blew his circuits.

As I understand it - Bran was already warged into Hodor; that's what got him up off his arse and moving. However, since Bran was also present with Willis it brought that experience through to Willis

My mind is blown. These are some very interesting conclusions.

So game of thrones has a stable loop of time. Could mean a whole lot of things.

I think Bran does something to his father in the Tower of Joy at some point in the future.

Umm..no. She had come conclusions that were out there. And for petes sake people...Bran the Builder is the founder of House Stark and the first king in the north..8000..years ago and was the one responsible for building the wall, hence..Bran the "Builder".. He is not the Nights King..the Nights King was the 13th Lord Commander of the Nights watch, who went rouge. He may have been a Brandon Stark, but not the original Bran the Builder Stark.

To ad to this (not spoiler but just what has happened so far); someone suggested the guy the COTF made into the white walker was/is the Night King. Timing doesn't work presuming Night King is the 13th Lord Commander of a wall that was built centuries after the first WW was made.

I dont think the Nights King/Coldhands is a WhiteWalker anyway. I'm pretty sure I read GRRM saying a long time ago that Coldhands was not a WW, but "something different" I may be wrong though.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the vision Bran had by himself when the Nights King grabbed him, I think the tree frozen in ice was the same Weirwood that it showed in the earlier vision when the children created the Nights King. Does this mean the lands far to the North weren't always frozen?

Yes. The Green people brought this mess during the war with the first man.

I think you are right. It is the same place. So they were not always frozen is a safe assumption. I watched one of the YouTube guys that review the show. They still framed it. It was the same place.

Or the first men brought this mess by annihilating the COTF to the point of desperation? Either way it backfired...bigtime. Like creating a bio WMD to protect your country, and it wiping you out with everybody else
