Do you not understand that no matter what happens, there can be no "fairytale" ending? The best that could be hoped for is survival. In the books nobody's land has escaped destruction, except for Dorne and it is a desert. There is already very little food, and there is none stored anywhere for the hard winter. They are facing all annihilation and starvation. And still destroying each other...there can not be any "happy ending". Whoever ends up ruling, or married or whatever it is you think would be called a happy ending, they will be facing an almost impossible and miserable task.
Let's see, a "good guy" (Jon, Dany, Tyrion, etc), builds a massive army and defeats the Whitewalkers. The Iron Bank recognizes what Westeros just did for the entire world, and supplies Westeros with the funding and supplies needed to make it through Winter.
Once winter is over, the Wall is torn down and there is peace among the Seven Kingdoms, as they all had to unite to fight the Walkers.
The Wildlings return north of what was the Wall, but are welcome anywhere in Westeros.
The North and Winterfell belong to the Starks again.
Ramsey's head is on a spike.
7 years is up in Mereen/Slaver's Bay/etc, and slavery is abolished.
Happy ending.
Now do I think that's what will happen? No. Based on what I know about Thrones, it will go more like this:
This whole thing is setting up for a huge Ramsey victory.
By the last episode Sansa, Margery, Dany, and Messandei will all answer to whatever specific sexual desires he wants.
The Whitewalkers will finally invade, but they will spend their existence defending Ramsey.
You will hear multiple people telling tales of how The Mountain defeated The Hound with relative ease.
Arya will finally be a full fledged assassin, then Jaqen H'ghar will walk up behind her and stab her.
There will be a chest full of chopped up pieces of Tyrion and Jon Snow.
The Red Preistess will get one more life to bring back from the dead, and she'll choose Joffrey.
But on a lighter note, Sam will become a full-fledged Maester!
