Auburn has great fans. If you ever lived down there, you'd be an AU fan by default because "you have to decide." Auburn is an easy decision.

BTW I dont mean you have to be a fan fan, but they make you declare. Its the first order of business so everybody knows where you stand.

I live in Montgomery and from my experience Auburn fans are by far the worst fans in the state.

My wife's little brother goes to auburn ... I live south of Birmingham so we go see him couple times a month... I love it down there and people don't screw with me because of the UT stuff on my truck.... And we both hate Alabama so it works out lol

I live in alabaster which is south of Birmingham lived here my whole life!!!! When people ask me I say I'm a Tennessee fan and a fan of anybody who plays Alabama

Awwburn fans are mostly cool, my wife's family is allbarn. But AU itself is a cesspool.

I live in calera but went to high school at Thompson. Small world.

Edit: when I am forced to "declare" I still declare Tennessee.

I have tried several different cat backs and MagnaFlow is my favorite. I have one on my WS6, 04 GMC Z71, my 01 TJ. I haven't put on my 06 LJ yet though. Love their stuff. I really love that throw. I need to get one of those myself.

Very small world I went to Thompson as well what year did you graduate? My wife's family lives in Calera... If you ever saw a tan f250 with a Tennessee T on the front and a big T on the back that's me

This may not sit well with some but here we go. From Kingsport, UT grad and have lived in Bhm for over 20 years now. Given that all schools have their idiot fans I have never really had any problems living here. What I have really found interesting is how many Alabama fans when they find out I am a UT fan truely seem sincere in saying that they are glad to see us getting back on our feet. Now they still want to beat us but are glad we are comming back. Now they are mostly older fans that remember when UT was a bigger game for them then AU.
Given a choice of watching a game with Alabama friends or AU friends I most likely would choose the Alabama friends.

One last thing I have a son with an Alabama degree , one that just graduated from AU last weekend and a wife with a masters from Ga.

Do not post much but thought I would give my two cents.
