I voted for Cruz, but I really don't like him at all, and never have. I have said on VN before that my brother and I watched his last 2 Texas Senate debates on C-Span, but not together.

When we talked later, we both agreed that we liked the Democrat better as a person (real likeable guy), but would vote for Cruz based on his policies.

I don't get the unlikeable thing with him but doesn't matter now. I hope these people realize what they have with trump though I doubt they do.

Part of it is his looks. Part is that he seems very fake. I voted for him because he has done, or tried to do, what he was elected to do.

Question. Trump about to speak. Which do you prefer? Gracious, like any politician, or continue to call Cruz names ?

Going to be interesting.

Cruz wouldn't have beaten Clinton so it doesn't really matter..the good thing about Trump getting the nom is the voters giving the ole double bird to the GOP establishment..there was 2.6 million spent beyond Cruz's 2.5 in Indiana ..Trump spent 900k

There is some truth to that. The thing that sunk Cruz was that as soon as the Republican establishment cozied up to him (to stop Trump), and as soon as he started to steal delegates, he looked like an insider. That blew what he had going for him, and made Trump the only "outsider."

Trump hasn't really kicked any of the candidates when they dropped. I'd say he'll push ahead with a national campaign type speech.
