2016 Election Thread Part Deux

The only thing more pathetic than the GOP base grudgingly lining up behind Trump is the charade of them rationalizing it as though they believe he's worthy.

And what exactly is the difference between them and the Dem base lining up behind Hillary?

Funny coming from a supporter of a party that had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to come up with Hillary, ironic post is ironic.

Care to rationalize Hillary for us?

She has a lot of experience, which has some merit. Other than that she's horrible.

Great, She has experience. Care to name a few of her successes? In the positions she has held what has she accomplished that has been a sustained success?

He can't name anything. She's good at riding coat tails.

She did approve of some historical marker on a highway in NY. That should qualify her for president, almost like the community organizer we have now.

The GOP has a very high unfavorable rating in polls taken by the long established polling organizations, wonder why!

I would guess that it is because the lefties will always hate them, and their own constituency hates them because they don't do anything that they were elected to do.....i.e. the deficit, the border, Obamacare, etc.

I do believe the feeling is mutual on both sides of the isle , that's why nothing is getting done in Washington. Seeking to find or place blame instead of seeking solutions or resolving problems. Blaming the left for all the ills is becoming a tired and worn tactic that will not work in November.

Funny, the left blames the right just as much.

There's actually nothing more pathetic than the GOP establishment.
I'll raise you the democrat base. The GOP establishment are clueless, no doubt, but the democrat base is utterly moronic, completely devoid of the ability to think rationally or intelligently.

Here's their platform:
Free stuff
Make the rich pay
get whitey

What more do you need to get them to fall in behind the most corrupt individual ever to run for high office?

Edit: To answer my own question; We will elect the first woman president. She's a strong woman.

The base is signed, sealed and delivered.

Just remember, this is the tolerant left in action:

Protesters take to streets after Trump rally in California - CNNPolitics.com

Scores of protesters took to the streets Thursday night outside a Donald Trump campaign event here, drawing out police officers in riot and tactical gear and on horseback who sought to disperse the crowd.

The crowd gathered in the streets outside the OC Fair & Event Center as Trump addressed several thousand supporters at the Center's amphitheater. At least one police car was damaged and several scuffles broke out amid the hectic scene.

Protesters blocked a main intersection, impeding traffic, and officers with the Orange County Sheriff's Department and Costa Mesa Police Department worked to disperse the crowd, ordering protesters out of the streets.

The GOP has the majority in the House the problem is they don't have a majority within their own majority. This problem has been discussed on C-Span's "Washington Journal "by dem and repub reps alike. There is a core of forty gop reps unwilling to compromise and for that reason the reasonable reps work with the dems to get bills passed. Typically most reps will vote for a bill if it contains half of what they want, but not that bunch. A small majority is driving the gop over the cliff.

I have to disagree. While I truly detest the Democrats general approach to size of government and personal responsibility, I view much of the GOP the same as I would a traitor.

Most of them campaigned with very specific promises that they abandoned with speed once in office. How many said they would fight to end Obamacare? How many actually did anything of significance? Most even ridicule their voters who still ask about it. They are worse in my eyes.

And John Boehner is the worst of the worst. We couldn't have done much worse electing a Democrat into that position. What a loser. Always crying on TV. No killer instinct. No desire to win. Constantly making excuses for why he can't. Just wants to be accepted inside the beltway and ensure he'll be making bank after his days in office. These people disgust me.
