Lady Vols Recruiting Info

We still have five scholarships to give? :)

I noticed that Ohio State is showing all of their players 15 with the two transfers (Mavunga and Linnear) Yet they have three freshmen comin into only two open spots!!! They signed two guards with four guards already ahead of the Freshmen?? And Tori McCoy with 5 bigs ahead of her! Just waiting to see how all of this turns out...especially since we wanted two of the ladies to come here! Waiting on the FIREWORKS:dance2:

Ohio SuckyState is over stocked and we have 5 available. Wow just wow that we have this many open spots

SEC 2017 recruiting thus far:

Kentucky has 5'9" point guard Lindsay Duval number 10 in the nation, number 30 Madison Treece 6'4" post player, number 56 Kameron Roach 5'6" point guard.

Mississippi State has number 32 Nyah Tate 6'0" guard, and number 41 Myah Taylor 5'6" guard.

Florida number 51 Karissa McLaughlin 5'7" point guard.

I would say that Kentucky is off to a huge start with for 2017 with three top 60 players.

South carolina will be good next year that is for sure even with out those freshman having an impact. The will be role players a kaela davis and gray with aja and alaina. If we can secure the the Grad transfer and get jatarie white . we will be solid as well if we can get jamie nared ,diamond and tea to be our three gaurds to score for us on an consistent basis.

White will fit in real good with our walking wounded. Another player who cannot play a full season without missing playing time? Can she even play this next year? Or sit out one year and see who is left to play!!:)

Both teams need to make it to the Final 4 to bring the SEC back up to where they belong! Even when Tennessee was a regular at the Final 4, there seemed to be another SEC team there. Auburn, Georgia, and Vandy made it and it was fun knowing the SEC ruled women's college basketball.

Jatarie White would have to sit out a year. She might still be worth going after for post depth. What are the chances that any 2017 freshmen would be ready to contribute more than Jatarie as a jr? Besides, we've learned the hard way that you can never have too many post players.

The two freshman guards will be role players to the Big 4, but IMO the PG position will make or break the team. Cuevas will come in with experience, but they are in a good position to have an additional 2 5-star PGs ready to come off the bench in case Bianca is struggling.

ND, SC and OSU look like the teams to beat next year. They will all be stacked, and each will have a returning 1st team AA. Baylor might also be in the mix, depending on who they have playing PG. Tennessee should be discussed if the returning 4 starters play up to their potential.

Since 2008, there have been 32 teams participating in the Final Four. Only one of those 32 represented the SEC (South Carolina in 2015). Before you talk about having two SEC teams in the Final Four every year, wouldn't it be a good start to just have one on a regular basis?

No, a "good start" would be having a Final 4 with all four teams from the SEC, but I'll settle for talking about those two making it.

Bianca Cuevas is going to have to work for her starting position.

SC is positioned to be damn scary next year. Will be interesting to see where Dawn takes this crew.

Thank you for giving your honest opinion & not showing bias. I hope the lady vols & lady gamecocks battle for conference supremacy for years to come.

Kalpana Beach is leaving.

She only picked top 3 today. We were on her list. At least Hoopgurlz had us on her list. If I'm wrong. So sorry

No don't apologize, she did have us for her top 5 if I'm not mistaken...it's just been said many of times before that she's Maryland's to lose. Now if this was Kasiyahna Kushkituah*or Dorie Harrison, I would be thoroughly concerned.

Kushkwhata?????? Bob Kesling would retire

Here are the people we are looking to hear about. KK, Dorie Harrison, Anastasia Hayes, Evina Westbrook, and Maya Dodson. There are probably a few others but these are the main names I have heard the most.

Harrison, KK, Dobson, and Westbrook would be a stellar class for 2017, two mobile post players and two quick guards that don't miss layups! I'm hoping for a top 5 class for 2017.
